I've been to 4 job providers, including this one in the past 5 years. Centrelink dragged me there despite knowing I wouldn't fit into ANYONE'S categories.
The guy was nice enough, but he basically took one look at me and said "Why are you here? You ain't blind, deaf or have depression." Like he could tell, he was just reading off the referral!
I do appreciate him being honest with me when he said the last 3 people than Centrelink referred to this place didn't fit into those 3 categories either.
He also said he'd ring me later in the day, I assume after he rang Centrelink to figure out WHY I got referred to the wrong place! I'm still waiting to know what's going on.

Yes, I haven't ever bothered to be OFFICIALLY diagnosed by a shrink that I've got depression, due to a family that don't believe in mental illnesses, but that don't mean I don't got it, it just means it ain't on Centrelink's records. I don't believe them knowing will make my life easier, so why tell them?
For goodness' sake, I rocked up there in a wheelchair not completely awake and not sure if I could work, and STILL got turned away!
There was a nice long ramp with speed humps that sloped gently with sturdy handrails on either side that you could park next to, made my wife's job a LOT easier, as my chair weighs about 20kg and doesn't separate into parts at all. She 5'9, over 70kg and real muscular in contrast to my much smaller stature, which is less than 50kg, 5'4, petite.
