I want to thank paul for helping me through my anxiety and dissociation
today and calming me down. He is lovely and made me feel safe. He understood every feeling and thought I was going through and let me open up with no judgment in the room. The rooms in there are amazing and helped with sensory overload it was a calming experience. Paul gave me a weighted dog plushy to help me through my anxiety to help me feel safe. It calmed me down instantly. Dont be afraid to reach out for help. I wanted to go to the hospital for my panic attacks and went to this mental health clinic for support and walked out feeling better

From the moment i walked in i felt welcomed and safe by Allie and then had a session with Abosede and they were both amazing

Ive suffered alot of distress/grief the past 2 years culminating in a double shoulder dislocation/fracture surgery 4 weeks ago and my father passing away during the recovery. I was under a very dark cloud despite having support at hand. Sometimes you just need someone not in the situation to say its ok to feel that way and you are strong and csn move foward, Abosede did that and more in our session she even bolstered my wife who's been caring for me since my hospital discharge.

A huge Thank you again, Abosede. ❤️

The centre is definately a good choice for anyone needing support, even if just a shoulder to cry on.

I have been going there for over a year now. I am not happy with the way they deal with situations. I have put 2 complaints, and both were ignored. Apparently, their workers can't do anything wrong. I tried for weeks to get answers but kept getting ignored. A place you complain to should get back to you in a certain time limit. I had to apologise to the person who wronged me. No apology to me at all. The higher up people really don't care like other places. I wouldn't recommend going there. There are better supports out there. People need to know you can't be trusted or just shove things under the rug like everyone does in life. Not good enough!! There needs to be a support place that isn't scared of people putting in bad reports.

I'm 55 and cannot thank Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental health Centre enough. Wow I was listen to and supported. ❤️ No judgement and talking with a peer worker with lived experience ❤️ I finally found a place for me.
They get me 🙂 they understand me. Especially being a resident in the Elizabeth area. We are automatically judged and criticised.

I had an experience where I was told I couldn't have my prescription for ADHD meds. 😢
And I was on some watch list sorry but 😂
🙄 Go ahead and judge. I have evidence and can prove this.

I'm prepared to give the benefit of the doubt this time. But I will be asking they don't cut me off and we work on a solution together so this is not a repeat. From seeing a peer worker really helped me. I understand and realise I have a safe place until I see the doctor again. So thanks you and you have definitely won another supporter.

I can't post no stars no I guess one star will do. I walked in here after going to my GP first. They listened to the first 2 minutes then said oh call Relationships Australia. They couldn't get me out of there fast enough. No wonder mental health is such a problem. I have tried reaching out. To my GP first, then you guys. Honestly if someone is opening up about there mental health, LISTEN. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING!

This is a long review, but it's necessary. I have been seeing and dating someone for the last 3 months, and I was told by the person she needs a break. It honestly broke me and left me miserable, I had seen the billboards, the signs around my area and was referred to by a family to speak to someone at their service. I'm glad I did, as the person I spoke to was there to listen and after spilling out how I was feeling it's given me a new perspective on how handle the situation
