I was meant to post this months ago but I completely forgot until now.

I visited the Munno store back in late January/ early February to have my glasses cleaned and also see if there was anything they could do about the left lens as I didn’t know if it had gotten extremely scratched up or just needed a good clean. The lady who served me checked in their system when I bought these glasses and came back to me and told me because I bought it in 2019 that it was not eligible under their warranty, and I stupidly believed her when she said that was the date. I went back to my car and just checked my emails for the order date and saw that I ordered it in late December 2022 - so I have no idea where she got the info for 2019. I understand that it is a 2 year warranty so perhaps January/February is too late (mind you only 1-2 months late) but seriously..After that she didn’t bother helping me out any further which I thought was poor.

Not to mention that when she went to go “clean” my glasses, they did not come back clean at all. She didn’t even take the lenses out for a proper clean. Not the worst customer service, but definitely not the best.

Got the extra thin and light, and ultra clean super clean extras on these glasses and the lens have not been up to standard with how scratched up the left lens has gotten, and I like to think I look after them quite well.

This review is mainly for the website. I leave it here as this is my local store. and I give 4 stars to be somewhat fair.

Prices are great, I switched from another company I used to buy from, because my contacts lenses at Specsavers were half the price!!

Range is also great. I recently upgraded to a new version of the lenses, the other place didn't even stock them, Specsavers does 🙂

Unfortunately the website is not very clear about many things. and not very attractive either. It is not very clear about how long it will take to despatch items. They only say 2 business days for in stock items or 7 for out of stock items, but it doesn't inform which of these apply to the item I am ordering. The order confirmation also does not confirm either way.

The other problem is with the online customer service. It is almost nonexistent. and when I did get a response, it was very blunt, not overly helpful, and not pleasant at all. If I encountered the same attitude in store, I wouldn't return.

Shipping time was adequate.

The audiologist was professional and friendly. It gave me confidence after obtaining the hearing aids. It has opened up a whole new chapter for me. If you have a hearing problem get it seen to.

I had a great experience from the ease of booking an appointment online, right through to a thorough eye test and then selecting my new glasses. The staff at all levels were amazing and very knowledgeable at the type of glasses I required. Will definitely recommend to others, and will definitely return when I require new glasses! Thank you!
