Dr Phan is very friendly and helpful, however, his wife the receptionist is very unprofessional and is not understanding at all. She is rude and never hears what I have to say. She said to me “we are not your slave” when I missed an appointment phone call just by 10 minutes, and this was my first time missing the appointment call, and she also said to me “this is your last chance” instead of trying to understand that things come up and saying this in a more polite way, I never intended for Dr Phan to just wait around for my call.

couldn't ask for a better doctor and receptionist. my family have been with him since forever hes always been great with our medical needs. my children are so comfortable around him as-well as myself and husband. Dr Phan is a beautiful caring person who will always put your health first.

Dr Phan is great and very helpful, how ever the receptionist has the most RUDE, ARROGANT and DISRESPECTFUL way to talk to people. She needs to be reminded that is not ok to treat or speak to people like that, specially when we as patients are most vulnerable when we are sick. She had no intention to helping me and hung up on me only because i was asking if they had pre requisite procedures for patients upon arrival, just incase i got the appointment. Talked over me and hung up on me... extremely PIG and Disgusting behaviour....

Honestly the best Dr!! I have been seeing Dr Phan for around 30 years. Dr Phan goes above and beyond for his patients. Helpful and caring. Wouldn't go any where else. Mrs Phan is just as fabulous.

Dr Phan is a very helpful and friendly doctor. He makes you feel very comfortable. However, the receptionist lady is disrespectful and has an attitude. I handed her my medicare card and straight away she said "it was too old" and gave it back to me. She failed to look at the medicare card properly because it clearly said it expires in October 2018 ( that is in another 4 months). After I said it is not expired yet, she disrespectfully put up a piece of paper that said "please present current medicare card "straight to my face. She then had a look at my medicare card again and agreed that I was right.

Why put a piece of paper right to my face when you can just talk to me? I found that extremely rude.

I also almost was refused entry because my medicare card didn't have my name on it which I understand, but I tried explaining many times that my purse was stolen so my individual medicare wasn't here. But the Medicare card I handed that has all my other family names on it, is the same number registered as my own medicare number as well. She was still extremely difficult to communicate with and was refusing me.

Lastly, I said I have been to this family doctor before and please check my records to see if my medicare number matches the medicare card I gave to her. She checked my records and saw that my medicare card number was the same as the medicare card I presented to her. After all that, she finally said I can take a seat and see Dr. Phan.

In conclusion, the receptionist lady should never treat a patient like that. She's very rude and is so so difficult to communicate with. You don't try and refuse someone entry because a medicare card looks "too old" and you don't put a piece of paper straight to someones face as a way to get your point across.. Very poor communication skills.

I’ve been going to dr Phan ever since I can remember and it has always been a pleasure going to him. Now that I have a child of my own I still drive 30 minutes just to go see him! No problems whatsoever and he’s a very caring doctor. The receptionist is always polite to us aswell.

I never ever met the receptionist very rude and disrespectful. The lady should retired because she has no experience and unprofessional about this job.
The Ministry of Health should check about this problem.

Dr phan was a fantastic dr i have been going to him since i was a kid but i needed a dr late at night so went to another practice as a once off they requested my medical information from dr phan then next time i went to book an appointment to see him ms phan said i cant come back there because i seen another doctor and they asked for my medical history not happy after years of only seeing the 1 dr
