I have been visiting Prospect Medical Center for the past 11 years, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. The staff members are incredibly supportive and helpful. Special thanks to Helen, Norma, Pratik, Pooja, Ben, and all the other admin staff for always being so accommodating. The nurses are also excellent at their work. I always book my appointments through the Easy Visit app, which is simple, easy, and quick to use. Highly recommend this clinic for its professionalism and care!

New to Adelaide, I was told this clinic could fit me in and quickly. Sure enough they had spots, likely due to the fact nobody wanted to attend. The receptionist booking my appointment asked me what it was in regard to and I told them I was looking for a GP and I am a new patient. He shunned me instantly disregarding my request, I explained I would happily send medical records he told me not to bother as the doctor would refuse to see me if I requested any form of pain relief and said “I guess you won’t be needing that appointment” and hung up the phone before booking. He was blatantly rude to me. I have never felt so judged by someone with no authority or place of power than a receptionist with a sticky beak. How dare he ask people to divulge private information over the phone then refuse to assist them with a medical query or assistance. How Rude! After reading the reviews you can quite obviously tell the ones that are fake as they are 5 stars with glowing recommendations. But it speaks for itself 2.2 stars and 258 reviews. Lift your game, this is appalling.

Worst staff at their reception!
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Prospect Medical Centre, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. The staff I interacted with were incredibly impatient and lacked any empathy for my situation. It felt like they were doing me a favor by even taking my call, and their tone was consistently rude and dismissive.

It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. The staff seemed completely disinterested and unprepared to handle basic tasks like follow-ups or multitasking. This lack of professionalism made an already stressful situation even worse.

After reading through the previous reviews, it’s evident that I’m not alone in this experience. The consistently poor customer service is reflected in their low Google rating, and I can see why. Prospect Medical Centre needs to seriously reevaluate how they treat their customers if they want to improve their reputation.

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they make significant changes to their approach toward customer care.

This clinic was responsive and caring when my vulnerable, injured and elderly relative was turned away without care or assistance by reception staff of her regular clinic due to “miscommunication” and “being busy and under high pressure”. She was immediately helped, able to see a Doctor and given a referral for scans which is much appreciated despite your clinic no doubt also experiencing the same high service demands.

I wish I could give less than 1 star for this review. This is by far the worst centre I’ve ever been to, with an absolutely horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

I booked an appointment for my dad on Sunday at 11:15 am and completed the required forms. After waiting for half an hour, I asked about the delay, and the receptionist told me the doctor was running late because a patient had arrived an hour late. 15 minutes later, I asked how much longer we’d have to wait, and she said there were still four patients ahead of us.

I questioned why we weren’t informed earlier that the doctor was behind schedule, which would’ve allowed us to decide whether to wait or leave. She admitted with an apology that she informed other patients but not us. When I asked if we could see another doctor while waiting, she said the other doctor was no longer taking patients, adding, "This is how it goes on Sundays with our two doctors."

A side note for the doctors: besides the delays and poor time management, it wouldn’t hurt to dress more professionally to appear like actual doctors

Returning customer from 13 years ago having moved residence. Reception and Medical Staff absolutely wonderful. Same high quality standard of attention in all matters pertaining to healthcare and associated costs. Pleasure to deal with.

I would like to say what a wonderful and caring experience I had on the phone today at Prospect medical clinic. The receptionist, Helen, went above and beyond and showed real empathy. I would like to thank her so very much. You don’t often find people at work on a busy reception desk showing such patience and understanding these days.

The receptionist Norma is very rude and tactfully plays with words to push the patient to back foot-figuratively speaking.
She lies and is not a friendly person at all. Have seen other receptionists there but Norma stands out clearly in the regard to remain the rudest person i can imagine as a receptionist.
Her phone skills are also sub-par.
I rang the clinic to update our address info and she said “it has been updated”.
She did not update my change of address details. Later after having seen the doctor, we found out that she did not update it in the system and the doctor had to update it manually on the system. When we checked politely with Norma at the reception, she said she wanted to sight an ID with updated address which is why the change wasn’t made in the sytem. Well she should have advised us of this on the phone itself. She tried to dodge every query in a negative manner. Need to up her game at this!

I did advise her very politely and with a dim voice that I would leave her a feedback and she could not handle it at all either. I am not going to deal with her again.
