My experience here has been very positive. I had a cyst removed from my finger by Dr Eugene in day surgery and can't speak highly enough of the caring and friendly staff throughout.
10 days later, I visited the outpatient ward to have stitches removed. This area was a bit more rushed and crowded, which is probably to be expected. I also had x-rays of my hands taken by Emma, who was very patient and kind.
Oh, and the cafe has good coffee and nice food.

After a dental molar tooth extraction I needed medical care as I was bleeding heavily for hours. I attended Noarlunga Hospital Emergency the early hours of this morning. My first time there, I can't speak highly enough of the attention I received. The Admin staff, Nurses and Doctor were fantastic with their prompt care and professionalism. I had read much negativity about the Hospital but I couldn't have been be happier with their service. Thank you!

Went in on Friday night due to lingering severe stomach pains. Wait was extremely long however can't fault the hospital due to the volume of patients.

Staff and especially the triage nurse were specifically nice and understanding of complaints, as from rom what i saw many were frustrated due to the wait times.

Once in a room it was pretty up hill and you could tell everyone took their job seriously and i couldn't say any of them had a bad bedside Manner, and did their best to keep me calm and collected.

My understanding now is that this is an underrated hospital that deserves respect.

The staff in the day unit were incredible—so attentive and helped me feel completely at ease. Dr. Sugrue was outstanding, and the entire healthcare team, from administration to the anaesthetist, was excellent. The care I received was exceptional, and I honestly couldn't find a single thing to fault. As someone with high anxiety, I was made to feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my surgery.

Yesterday I had day surgery at Noarlunga Hospital. From the moment I entered until I left I was so kindly taken care of by the the nursing staff, the surgical staff and the administration staff. These people are amazing and I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

The outpatient administration service at Noarlunga Hospital is quite disappointing. The initial phone wait time is usually 25 minutes, and when I finally got through, some staff were quite rude. If the call drops due to network issues, they don’t bother calling back, which adds to the frustration.
It’s clear that there aren’t enough resources to properly support the services they offer. The attitude from staff is poor, I even heard them say, “If you’re not happy, go private— you get what you get,” rather than a patient-centered approach. Additionally, they are not transparent about wait times for day procedures. I was told I was next, had all my belongings taken, and was changed into a gown—only to be left waiting for another 2.5 hours with no updates.
The lack of communication and empathy makes an already stressful experience even worse. Significant improvements are needed in both service and attitude.

I took my wife to the ED this morning. Excellent service from the start. A big thank you to nurses Casey and Zoe for their kindness and professionalism. These guys do a very difficult job, helping some very ungrateful and deserving people. Thank you.
