I can't recommend the care plan nurses enough. The nurse I have seen twice now regarding my care plan has been the most supportive person. My GP and careplan nurse are well worth the extra travel it takes me to keep returning to this clinic.

Dr Rozel & Dr Vala are exceptional doctors and people. They go above and beyond for their patients and treat you as an individual, not another patient in their room. They have an abundance of knowledge and help with minor and major issues, they are honest, caring and informative. I have built a strong relationship with them and recommended them both to friends and family. The Australian medical system needs more people like them, who truly care.
Thankyou 🙂

Today I had an app with the nurse for care plan. I checked in as usual and then waited to be seen. As soon as I went in the nurse proceeded to apologised and explain that there has been a mess up on receptions end of the booking, and in order for them to finalise a care plan I need to see my regular Doctor. However, the doctor was not present, so this left me with no choice but to reschedule. The nurse also stated my app was the 4th one today to be rescheduled, due to the same issue, keep in mind this was still early hours of the day. I believe this is something that needs to be addressed, as I do not think it’s fair that the nurses at this medical centre are copping the after math of frustration and anger from patients, all because it seems to be a lack of training on the receptionist end. Some people like myself do not have access to a car and need to rely on other forms of transport, which cost a lot of time and or money. Also the fact that lots of us work and it’s hard enough to find a time to be seen with a doctor, let alone making sure it aligns with their schedules. Especially in a medical setting I think it’s crucial that the receptionist are trained efficiently, to ensure patients are being seen promptly.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of time and money. They required me to undergo numerous tests, including radiology and pathology, which felt excessive.

The receptionist was extremely rude and lacked basic manners. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM, yet I had to wait until 1:40 PM to complete all the testing. The nurse handling the ECG was not attentive enough to properly care for patients, and what should have been a 10-minute procedure ended up waiting more than 1.5 hours.

The overall management of time and scheduling was very poor. The receptionist, in particular, needs proper customer service training before taking on such a role.

I will never return.

I booked a standard consultation with Dr. Manjula Tamunaidu today at **10:30 AM**, expecting to pay the quoted fee of **$88** as informed by the receptionist. However, after the consultation, I was unexpectedly asked to undergo **pathology tests, a CT scan, and an ECG**, with the doctor stating that she would review all three results before providing a diagnosis.

The experience was frustrating and poorly managed. I had to wait **nearly two hours** for the ECG, and when the nurse finally attended to me, she asked me to lie on the bed and wait. I was left **waiting for 20 minutes**, feeling extremely cold in a medical gown without a jacket, as I was instructed to prepare for the test. Despite informing the nurse that I was **unwell due to chest pain and cough**, she showed **no concern** for my condition.

After completing all the tests, I had to **wait again** for the doctor, who then asked me to return in a week for my **CT and pathology results**. However, before undergoing these tests, she had **misled me into believing that everything would be ready instantly**.

To make matters worse, after spending **three hours** at the clinic, I received a call from the receptionist upon returning home, stating that I needed to **pay again** because they had mistakenly quoted **$88 in the morning**. The actual fee was **$128**, as the consultation was considered a **long consultation** due to the additional tests. At no point did I request a long consultation, nor was I informed beforehand that it would cost more. Had I known, I **would not have proceeded** with the consultation.

This experience felt **misleading and money-driven**, with **poor communication and lack of professionalism** from the reception staff. Patients deserve **clear pricing information upfront** and **compassionate care**, not **unexpected charges and dismissive treatment**.

Would **not recommend** this clinic based on my experience.

Had trouble with a misunderstanding on appointment time they wrote down wrong on the card they provided me. Then claimed we had to wait a really long time for a quick results conversation on my mother's ct scan on her brain for memory loss when they wrote the time down wrong. This used to be a really nice welcoming centre years ago now it's a just a shit show of no trust.

I'm extremely disappointed in the Elizabeth Medical and Dental Centre. I've been a patient here for years and previously gave them a 5-star review. However, their recent changes have led me to downgrade to 1 star.

The centre used to accept walk-in patients without an appointment, and although wait times varied, you could always see a doctor. Now, they require appointments and charge exorbitant out-of-pocket fees, making healthcare inaccessible to many.

This is particularly concerning given Australia's current cost of living crisis and the centre's location in a relatively low-income area of Adelaide. It seems they've abandoned their patient-centric approach, instead treating people like numbers and prioritizing profits over care.

Under our national health system, Medicare, this centre used to provide excellent healthcare to everyone with a Medicare card, regardless of their financial situation. Now, they demand credit card details before even seeing a doctor, creating a barrier to essential healthcare.

This is shameful and unacceptable behavior in our country. The Elizabeth Medical and Dental Centre should be ashamed of their new policies and practices. I hope they reconsider their approach and prioritize patient care over profits.
