I had to attend Gympie Emergency Department last Sunday, being unwell from severe sinusitis. Everyone was amazing and understanding, thorough checks and fast diagnosis were carried out, following by treatment of antibiotics and fluids to rehydrate. Medication was prescribed and I left feeling I knew exactly what I needed to do, rest and fluid upkeep. I felt I was in good hands the whole way through, everyone did an excellent job.

I can't speak highly enough of the care I received from the team in Emergency and my ongoing care. A really wonderful team of people who treated me with so much kindness.
We are very blessed to have this great service, vastly superior to other hospitals i have been to.
The government needs to prioritise funding!

I presented in the emergency room about a week ago after feeling like I had something lodged in my throat I couldn’t get out. Even though I was terrified of it being an overreaction, I was treated so wonderfully by Tiesha and the nurse practitioner, Charlie. I was experiencing so much anxiety, and they both kept me calm and had incredible bedside manner. Mark, the man who wheeled me too and from my x-ray and CT and the wonderful technician (I think her name was Bianca?) who did both my x-ray and CT scan were genuinely really amazing, she even stayed with me when I had the dye injected as I was feeling afraid due to never having had it before. I get intense anxiety at hospitals, but the entire team helped me and were so thorough even through my tears and nervousness. Thank you so much for your wonderful service, it really put my mind at ease.

I had a head injury due to a fall and Vanessa and her team were extremely thorough! I knew I was in safe hands and they followed through on everything. The team that works there are amazing. The words that stuck with me were, " if you were my mother, I would " which made me realise they treat you as if you were a member of their family and that's why I trusted them implicitly. I only gave 4 stars as the hospital really needs some money put into it which is down to the government not the hospital. Let's hope government check these pages as it would be good for them to put some money back into the hospital. Thank you to the ED and team 🌹

The Indian emergency Dr needs to have further training for his bed side manner. Ligament concerns dismissed.

Today I attended Gympie Hospital Emergency with my wife who had seriously injured her knee, as visitors from Tasmania we were greatly impressed by the quality of service and advice we received. Thanks to all
