Doctor was fine. Charged $80 for initial consult - fine. Medicare refund approximately $40. 3 weeks later no Medicare refund? Called them up, oh we didn’t charge the right amount for consult that’s why there is no refund. Charged a further $12.50. A week later no Medicare refund., oh it looks like we didn’t record the visit under the No. 1 person on your Medicare card. Me - Ok let’s fix it right now then? No no, book keeper will need to adjust this. 2 weeks later no refund. Owner/receptionist lady puts you on hold for like 15minutes at a time. I’ve decided to just leave the Medicare refund situation - out of pure frustration 🙁

My husband went to doctor dass many years ago now and said he was great. I went to him myself after having poor experiences with gps in the past. DR DASS and the team are exceptional. Compassionate and thorough. It is worth the wait because you know you will be cared for.

Unprofessional and completely dismissive of me after I paid for the service.

I came here seeking medical Cannabis and double checked that they offer this service with the doctors wife.

The doctor informed me that he did not have the license for medical cannabis and that I should check again in 2 months.

On the way out I did raise this to the front desk at which point they told me that I needed a second appointment to obtain medical which was not consistent with what I was told by the doctor. I waited and he changed his story telling me something completely different to what he said in privet with me.

If I was told what they said on the way out I would have simply selected a different GP and feel that I have been taken advantage of as I am a forgener to Australia

I found the staff and Dr. Das to be very professional and kind at Lake Orr Family Practice. Both times I’ve attended I have had my young son with me and every member made us both feel welcomed. Dr. Das was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this practice.

Doctor Das is an excellent doctor who really cares about his patients .
He runs a very efficient practice considering he works in an ever changing environment and does his best to run on time.
Everyone who works there are kind, caring and attentive .

Dr. das became quite disappointing- the intern that was allowed to be involved in my case was more accommodating, professional and actually made me feel like he cared. Dr. das was quite the opposite. I had a very bad injury and not only was he condescending about the information that I gathered from different specialists and shared with him and then asked him what he thought, he hurried through my results and basically repeated what he was reading off the paper without much interpretation. I'm just lucky enough to have an undergraduate knowledge in the science/ medical field to know what he was saying, but if I didn't have that knowledge from college, and was an average person, I would have left that consult with more questions than when I got there. And even when I did ask him questions about my condition I couldn't get a straight direct answer- then he tried to hurry the meeting along.
He didn't even give me instructions on how to solve my problem, which was the whole reason I made the appointment.
On top of that I called for my copy of serology report to be sent to me and I was given the run around as if they were scared I might go to someone else when all I wanted to do was put it in my personal medical file. I had to then demand it forcibly( which saddened me that I had to).
Not good enough Lake Orr Family Practice. Not good enough. I really thought I finally found a good doctor's office. What a let down.
