I had suffered with depression for 40+years when I discovered TMS therapy. OMG thank God I did. After session 10 I felt a difference and I just kept getting stronger each week. Dr Garg is one of the best. He listens, is interested and discusses your treatment the whole way through.Jane my mental health nurse was like my mentor. She is knowledgeable, kind and empathetic. She explains any part of your therapy you need to discuss. She is like your cheer leader wanting you to succeed. The girls on reception are amazing as well. They are kind and encouraging and down right genuine. I simply can't have a negative thoughts now. I feel so wonderful and grateful that I took the step and had the therapy. Other people have noticed. My family tell me my voice is lighter and upbeat. Friends ask what I have been up to because "I have a spring in my step". I could rave for pages about the changes in my life that I am experiencing. You have so much to gain from this therapy. My life is wonderful again and I don't worry or stress about anything.

I was at the end of my line when I first started TMS. I had no real expectations. I couldn't believe how kind and caring all the staff were. Dr Gard and Jane quickly had me on a routine of attending each day. At first, I'd drag myself each day to appointments, taking up to 4 buses for the round trip. Then after my 17th treatment I realised I no longer had the darkness surrounding me. I cried with happiness as I skipped my way to the bus stop. After 55 years of darkness, I have emerged a new person, enjoying my new life. I am always happy to tell people that TMS has saved my life. Thank you.

I contacted TMS at a time when i was suffering severe anxiety and depression bought on by certain life events. 35 days or treatment later and all have now ceased and i am back to feeling normal. Having suffered constant, varying levels of depression all my adult life with limited success with medication my psychiatrist suggested TMS. I looked into the treatment but was put off by the cost. My depression got to a point of almost no return so I got a referral to TMS Gold Coast. The price had dropped by half by then, although I was so bad I would have paid anything.
The first appointment was quite difficult as my depression was so bad I could not even follow simple conversations. When I actually started the treatment I found the sensation quite relaxing. For the first 3 weeks of treatment I was thinking that there was no improvement at all but into the fourth week it was like a switch was turned on and I started to see the world in a whole new way. It had been many years since I had felt that way. By the end of the treatment I had become a person that I had only a vague recollection of.
To be honest, TMS was going to be my last resort but I can honestly say that I am so glad I tried it. I am a completely new person who has hopes and plans for the future. The absolutely best treatment for me.
I cannot say it would be exactly the same for everyone but I found the treatment completely noninvasive and relaxing. The medical team were warm, friendly, knowledgeable and very reassuring.
I would strongly recommend this treatment and team if you are struggling with your mental health like I was.

I also just heard TMS will be added to Medicare in November as is should be.

I had tried nearly everything else before TMS was suggested. I was scared of the stigma of 'electric shock', but also thought I had nothing else to lose.
I have just completed treatment and it is the best I have felt in years. I have energy, my anxiety, depression and PTSD has severely improved and so has my memory. I found it so relaxing and there was no discomfort, let alone pain.
Everyone working at TMS have significantly improved my life and I never thought I would get to this point. I can't wait to keep improving. Thank you everyone 😀
