Gerry did a great job installing my automatic frunk and brake caliper covers on my Model Y. He does a great job that is clean and he is very knowledgeable of his products and technical skills. Great place to upgrade your Tesla with aftermarket parts and sporty suspension upgrades. Highly recommended!

I had my Outlander PHEV battery upgraded by Gerry. During the process, he kept me updated, did a perfect job and provided a lot of tips about how the battery management system works. While the BMS needed some values tweaked to get a smooth transition to get the motor to kick in, he didn't hesitate to prioritise that additional work so that we wouldn't be without our car long.

Sydney Hybrid and Electric cars is a true customer focused business and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my Model Y to Sydney Hybrid & Electric Cars for a general service, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. Gerry, the technician, was not only welcoming but also incredibly professional in his work. He conducted a comprehensive check on the car i.e voltage cables, errors, suspension, wheel rotation, and alignment. To top it off, he even refilled the windshield wiper fluid and battery coolant, all of which were included in the annual service package—and at a price that was economical. I dare say it was more cost-effective than what I’ve would have had at Tesla’s own service centres(e.g. their labour cost itself is 270$).

As it was a weekday, Gerry was kind enough to let me work from his office while the service was being completed, which was a huge relief since I was quite far from the centre. It saved me a long trip back and forth, and I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture, especially given that my appointment was a last-minute request. His willingness to accommodate me was greatly appreciated.

Gerry’s expertise in electric vehicles (EVs) really shone through during our conversation. He’s clearly someone who stays up to date with the latest developments in the industry, and it was engaging to chat about various EV brands and tech advancements. It’s rare to find a mechanic so knowledgeable and passionate about their craft.

Without a doubt, Gerry will be my go-to mechanic moving forward, and I highly recommend Sydney Hybrid & Electric Cars to anyone in need of reliable and professional service. Highest regards to Gerry—thank you for the excellent experience!

Only suggestion would be if there is a car loaner available at least for a day that would be really a value add.

We had the power frunk installed by Gerry on our Model Y. Gerry is very knowledgeable about Teslas and third party accessory installations. He’s also got a good stock of accessories at the workshop. Both, the products and installation services are very reasonably priced. Very impressed with the quality of installation and would definitely recommend!
