Unfortunately my experience here was far from ideal. I've been getting routine blood tests for 7 years and every time I ask them if they could let me lie down and get it over with quicky. Never an issue at the few places I've been to. It's usually all done and dusted in less than a minute.

The gentleman who took my blood today, whilest kind although didn't speak much when I asked him questions, couldn't find my vein for a good 2-3 minutes after poking my arm painfully making me really anxious as initially thought he'd taken the blood after all that but no, he had not, he just had trouble finding it.

Then I was questioned by him as to why I wanted to lay down, I explained carefully at the beginning that I prefer it and that it makes me more comfortable and also asked if it could be taken quickly, as per my usual request. But none the less I was questioned about it. I explained that I have an anxiety disorder and it works for me.

Anyway they convinced me to sit on the chair which I did reluctantly after being assured that I will be ok and that I should tackle my fear as they called it.. So again I agreed, and he begins to take blood from my other arm, needless to say, it was taking ages, and I started to feel woozy, and like I was going to pass out I started moving about, only to have him tell me to stay still, like I have control over it.

The thing that irritated me the most was that while they were very caring afterwards I have never had this issue in 7 years. With any other pathology clinic. They almost always manage to do it very fast and get my vein first go without pain.

I appreciate the care taken after I almost passed out, but being told that it's all on my head was rather frustrating and I felt pretty upset. I will not return here, even with the glowing reviews. I'll probably just go back to who I used to see.

I'm sure they two people in the room with me don't have issues with most people but I didn't feel very good after he poked around my arms for a few minutes. To the point I wanted to leave.

The ladies were so gentle and clam with my little one . Even though we didn’t have a booked appointment for under 7 yr old they were happy to take us in. An extra assistance was needed since it was our little ones first time Liz and Mandi were amazing. Thank you ladies , they also gave my little one a hand made plush toy to comfort her.
