Had a poor experience here last week. Brought my 5mth old daughter for a chest ultrasound (booked an appt but still asked to take a number). The sonographer smelled like cigarette smoke and was dismissive of my questions (perhaps didn't know the answers?), only replying each time that it was nothing to worry about. After doing the ultrasound on one side, I asked if he wanted to do the other side (having had ultrasounds before); which he replied no, 'no need'. Then after leaving our completed form and personal details on the waiting room bench (unattended and available to anyone sitting there to read), we left. After about 20min whilst driving home, I received a call from the assistant saying that the doctor would like both sides of my daughters chest done, 'so that he can compare'. When I mentioned that I explicitly asked the sonographer if he should do this and he said no, she was unapologetic and just asked when I could come back in to do the other side. Really felt like a waste of time. Asked for my referral back and booked a second opinion somewhere else.
