I’ve been to a few different skin specialists over the years in the Hunter and had terrible treatment thats left huge scars and was recommended to see Jack. I’d lost faith and trust in skin specialists but coming to see Jack changed all of that.
I felt very comfortable and always looked after by Jack and his team. I feel he has always gone above and beyond for me and always gave me options that have been honest and care led. I will never go anywhere else and I appreciate his continued kindness and professionalism every visit. My family and friends see him too and I will always recommend him and his team to everyone first and foremost.

I have had 3 visits to this clinic and each time has been amazing all the staff are very lovely and welcoming and jack really takes the time to listen to your concerns and work out the best possible course of treatment to suit your needs and timeframe. I have acne problems and am currently receiving laser treatment for it to have clear skin for my wedding and I can already see such a huge difference I could not recommend this place anymore!

I don't like giving negative reviews but I am writing this for the benefit of others in my position. I booked this clinic based on the positive reviews however, my experience was far from positive. Dr Cheng was just over 1.5hrs late for my appointment, I have never had to wait 1.5hrs for a specialist before and found it very unprofessional. The receptionist was lovely and apologised for the delay several times. My appointment was approximately a year ago and I never worried about writing a negative review based on the doctor being late however, I have since been to another skin cancer clinic and the skin cancer on my forehead that I was concerned about and specifically mentioned to Dr Cheng did in fact turn out to be a Squamous cell carcinoma. I knew it was a skin cancer but Dr Cheng looked at it through his skin checker thing and said that it wasn't. The size of my skin cancer has grown substantially since seeing Dr Cheng.
If you are concerned about anything as a patient attending this clinic, I recommend seeking a second opinion.
The clinic was clean.
The waiting area was comfortable.
The receptionist was friendly and professional.

The recommended skincare products has really made improvements to my skin in the 6 months I have been using them. It is not an overnight magic but it makes a noticeable difference. The machine treatments are effective as well. Dr Cheng and his team are friendly, honest, and professional.

DR CHENG is a wonderful Doctor who really cares about looking after you. He strives to get the best results for you , he is a perfectionist. I have to add that in my case his genorosity over seveveral years of treatment is beyond compare. His staff are so kind and professional too.

Dr Jack Cheng is an outstanding medical practitioner who has helped me through my various skin cancer issues over the past several years.
Update Sept 2019:
So far this year Dr Jack has identified and removed several more skin cancers by both traditional methods and also with applications of his four new lasers.
He has also used these lasers to minimise and even vanish previous scarring.
l have recently completed the Efudex Clinic with Dr Jack Cheng's guidance and l am extremely pleased with my results. My skin looks and feels great. Friends and relatives comment openly on how much younger l look.
l give the highest possible recommendation for Dr Jack Cheng and all the staff of the Luminous Skin Cancer and Scar Centre to any future potential patients.

How amazing is this clinic 💜
I've come in for skin rejuvenation and to get rid of fine lines and discoloration on my face.
Dr Cheng and and side kick Peggy are just amazing.
I highly recommend seeing Dr Cheng for any laser treatment..
