Would not recommend this nursing agency if you are moving to Australia from the UK. Poor response times from the beginning so should have taken note of the red flags but the worst part, they waited until I had arrived in Australia to tell me my references didn’t indicate suitability to the roles I wanted! They did, but even if they didn’t, to wait until I had actually arrived in the country counting on this job is extremely poor. Considering the time and money I had put in to sending them all the right documents, getting vaccines, countless phone calls where it was never suggested there was anything amiss with my previous nursing experience. Oh, and they blocked me from their Facebook group for simply asking others if there were any other agencies they would recommend? Very strange company, avoid if you can.

Do not work for this company. Will cancel you last minute on your way to shifts. Lucky to get 8 hours a week sometimes. Will not be able to survive in the current cost of living situation in Australia working for these people. Completely broke my spirits for months.

My daughter was a nurse with HCA in Aus. I found them very inconsiderate of her time. My other daughter was also a nurse with HCA and she had troubles as well. I value the effort put into coordinating healthcare for the public, but I think someone along the way is missing a couple chromosomes. Don’t be sorry, just do better.

Don’t bother working for them. They allow shifts to be booked in advance only to cancel them all with 2hrs notice. They aren’t a company that cares about the wellbeing of the healthcare workers they hire, it’s disheartening to be honest

If I could give a zero I would,
Where do I start, very unreliable company always cancels on you literally an hour before your scheduled time if your lucky, it's hard when you reley on these companies for support, you get nothing but disappointed everytime. Don't waste your time with HCA.

Very bad experience! Took few months to apply and still need more paperwork! Send email to ask them regard the progress of application with no reply! Made phone calls to them always redirect to more than ten people and still couldn’t find the right person to answer the questions! I don’t think this is a good company to work for as they don’t respect people at all!
