I had a motorbike accident down the road and desperately need some bandage. It’s not life threatening at all.
I walked into the center because it’s the closest medical assistance at the time. The zero empathy and lack of attention is astounding especially after I simply said that I need some help because I just had a fall from my bike.
The receptionist didn’t even bother to look at me, said “don’t have an appointment? Sorry there is no one available”.
How about a simply human care? Some duty of care would be nice.
I walked out still dripping blood and limping.

The next closest is Green Square and they were amazing.

Don’t ever go to this medical center.

This place is so great! The receptionists were always super nice and very thorough with all my appointments and questions. Dr. Leigh Barlow was fantastic - so empathetic and helpful with my zillion questions and concerns. Highly recommend Dr. Barlow and this clinic!

I had a terrible experience with Redfern Medical Centre. I saw a cardiologist and paid $380 for my consultation, yet two weeks later, I am still chasing my reports. Every time I call reception, they promise to send them but never do. After repeated follow-ups, I was finally told they don’t even have my reports. To make matters worse, they won’t pass on my message to the doctor and are now telling me to go back to my referring GP meaning I have to spend even more money just to chase down results that should have been provided. This has been nothing but a stressful and frustrating experience. I do not recommend this clinic.

Doctors are great. Staff are wonderful. Bulk billing medical centre. Very convenient and easy to book in. Nurses are champs. One of the best medical centres in Sydney. Location just few minutes walk from the Redfern train station.

I called this medical center and asked if they could let me know in case someone canceled their appointment. They said they would put me on the waitlist and, if not, they had booked me in for 9:30 AM the next day and confirmed my details. The following morning at 8:30 AM, I called to confirm my appointment, but another receptionist told me there was no
booking under my name and that the 9:30 AM slot had already been taken a week ago. Such bad attitude, poor communication, and irresponsible behavior. Totally unprofessional and a complete waste of time.

Fantastic Medical Centre. Staff (including Receptionists) are always friendly and helpful and Doctors are punctual, thorough and kind. Special thanks to Sandra, who was a pleasure to speak to via a phone consult. I will continue to be registered with this medical centre and highly reccommed it.

Such a terrible practice. I made an appointment at 1:15pm, while pressured with work schedules and commitments. Then I waited until 1:20 & checked, been told the doctor still had not showed up. Then I check with a Caucasian lady at reception, she said the doctor maybe with someone else. Then at 1:30, I kindly asked her again, she said in the most patronizing and passive way: “I have explained to you, the doctor is with someone else”
Such bad attitude. If you do not enjoy working with the patients, avoid taking a job in customer service miss thing.
