Friendly professional staff from the receptionists to the radiologists.
Arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was more than happy to sit and wait my turn but I was taken in straight away. I was put at ease and had my procedure done quickly and efficiently. Great experience all round.

I had been going here for the whole duration of my pregnancy as I always have an enjoyable experience. Sara is one of the best ones, and very much professional.
But today, its such a horrible experience, traumatizing and discriminating. I went for a 36 weeks ultrasound, it was very uncomfortable and the person doing is very unpleasant, seems to be pissed and not compassionate. She also pressed the ultrasound wand too hard on my belly and my pubic bone. Her tone, body language and everything seems that she dont want me to be there. Pulling my pants down impatiently. Very rude. After reading previous reviews from here, indeed, attitude is disgusting. I hope noone else experience the same as me.

I’ve never felt so disappointed this experience. I went in for a scan on my ankle, and from the moment I arrived, the front desk staff treated me with coldness and zero empathy. No greeting, no smile—just an attitude that made me feel like a burden.

Despite having a valid doctor’s referral and claim number, I was repeatedly questioned and even threatened with a $190 fee if I didn’t provide an approval letter on the spot (even though my insurer confirmed it was already being sent). The receptionist refused to let me proceed without a Medicare card—even though it was a workers comp case and my insurer clarified it wasn’t needed.

I had to leave, in pain and through flooded conditions, just to retrieve a card that wasn’t required. Ultimately, I canceled and went to another radiology clinic where I was scanned and out the door in under 5 minutes—no drama, no stress.

Nowra Radiology seriously needs to train their front desk staff in basic professionalism and compassion. Healthcare starts at reception. If your staff can’t offer that, it reflects poorly on the entire clinic.

I showed up to my 20 week scan unaware it was not bulk billed (as my last 2 scans were bulkbilled) the receptionist was disgustingly rude and informed me that it would be $200 and when I questioned her about it she made comments like “how will you raise a kid if you can’t even pay $200 for you’re scan” and embarrassed me in front of the whole waiting room by making rude remarks that I could not afford it.
I would not recommend going here and would rate zero stars if I could. Absolutely disgusting.
