Contacted them today to ask if there's any available spot to see a gp within a week period and mentioning that I'm a new patient but live locally. The lady I spoke to strongly declined my request, saying that they dont accept new patients. This is the problem now a days when needing medical help. The health minister should address this kind of issue.

I never really leave bad reviews unless it’s super upsetting, and that happened with this practice. Dr Faiz is super rude - I’m an athlete and needing to update my certificate of Fitness/Medical record book every half year ensure I can continue competing. After signed my certificate of Fitness, he is refuse to sign my blue book says ‘he’s too busy to sign it and I have to pay.’

I have never said anything about not paying, and I have done this multiple times with other doctors and this never happened. I explained to him I am going to pay of course, and ask him please sign the book for me unless I cannot compete this week. He looked very impatient and he walked out with me after ensure I was paying, when he left I said Thank you to him, and he just walked away without saying anything.

I never experienced anything like this before with a doctor, and it was super upsetting. I only came here once before, it was a female doctor, she’s lovely and I had good experience with her.

The receptionist was lovely though, I feel bad that she’s working for someone like this.

A great medical centre, Dr Shakilla and Dr Faiz are fantastic doctors. Very knowledgeable but also very kind and caring.
The admin staff are also fantastic, their communication is great and very responsive!

I just attended Kogarah Medical Centre for the first time. Being new to the area I've been looking to find a new doctor. I'd heard good things via local pages so I thought I'd give them a go. From the minute I walked in I was given a warm greeting by the lovely receptionist (likely practice manager as he was so good at his job). He was the right amount of friendly while being professional and clearly knowledgeable as I heard him training a new staff member. I was impressed. Then I saw Dr Sachawars who carried out a thorough history and check given it was my first time there. I love that I didn't feel rushed which is rare. He really listened and knew his stuff. While I hope not to be back too soon, I feel lucky that I found not only my new doctor but a lovely practice. Thank you

My family and I had a great GP who moved out to another city. It's hard to find a medical centre with great customer service and specially with doctors who care about their patients and are good at what they do. I have gone to this medical centre few times now and I know I found what I expected from it. The doctors are nice, caring, knowledgeable. The staff are very nice as well, always in good spirits. Great customer service. You feel comfortable to be there.

Dr Shakilla looked after me so well during my pregnancy and breastfeeding journey.

Dr Faiz recently helped me with excellent advice when my bub became lactose intolerant after getting gastro. He saved us from a lot of strife by pinpointing the issue, and bub was doing great again within 24 hours on lactose free formula.

Thank you both for your excellent care and direction.
