Dr Fernando is the best GP my wife and I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He communicates well and listens to our concerns. He values his patients and treats us with respect and congeniality. Can't rate him high enough. A good man and doctor.

Just had a severe shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago (16 days to be exact). My surgeon said to make sure my pain was under control as pain can really affect the rehabilitation process. I went to Coffs GP Super Clinic to get my 2 scripts for pain medication written again, as its quite hard to book in with my surgeon. The doctor refused to write me a script for my stronger pain medication which currently I am relying on to manage the pain and get a good nights rest! This is absolutely appalling. He could see I had a pretty significant and major surgery as he had my discharge letter. I told him I use the weaker pain medicine to barely manage throughout the day and I take the stronger pain medication to have some relief in the evening to go to sleep or when the pain is too severe from the rehabilitation. The GP’s at this clinic do not care about the wellbeing of the patient, they just assume you are or will become an addict even though they can see I just had a MAJOR SURGERY.

I am a patient of Dr Chandra and have followed her from Scarba St to this clinic. I am trying to reschedule an appointment. I have called 4 times now and after 10 minutes, just get hung up on. I rang the number on the website and am told that they can't help because it is the 'wrong' number and the other person is probably on lunch. It has been over 2 hours now. I feel for Dr Chandra because she is professional and her past receptionist were very efficient. Perhaps the Clinic management may need to employ more reception staff or shorten their 'lunch.' It is a joke!

Clinic doctors overall are mostly fine... this review is re Dr Janet Odani. Couldn't see usual doctor so booked in to see her with bad headache had for days, got so bad I threw up. Took me about 45 seconds to explain this. The response from Dr Odani was, without any observations at all such as temperature, blood pressure etc... to attend the ED to get brain scans for a possible bleed. I explained I'd had tension headaches like this in the past and just needed pain relief such as panadiene forte. She said no and pushed the ED line. I replied I simply needed pain relief and If she wasn't going to assist it wasn't good enough. I then left. I was in no way obnoxious or abusive simply saying what I thought. This all transpired in less than 5 minutes.
When I next came in to see the GP I usually see she informed me that Dr Odani had put a note on my file that I was an opiod seeker. Amazing how someone in that position can ruin your reputation with an under 5 minute consult when you're in pain, and without actually doing anything And getting paid a nice fee for it!!! And there is no real recourse for denying payment for poor service except maybe complaining to the ombudsman with nothing happening anyway.
I have much respect for GPs with all their training and expertise but they're not infallible or gods, and don't like being challenged. Who holds their poor decisions accountable?
Tarnishing me with a label of opioid seeking simply because I asked for panadiene forte which in my 66 yrs have had on prior occasions for strong pain. Not good enough Janet Odani.

Dr Messiah is hands down the best Gp that I have dealt with, He treats Patients with great care & understanding & Listens to His Patient as an equal Person & as an individual making You feel genuinely cared for & in capable hands. For this reason My Wife & extended Family are all under Dr Messiahs care now & have always been Happy with whatever Medical care that He sees fit to prescribe.

I couldn't see my local GP and my specialist was on holiday. I needed to renew a prescription. I was given an appointment the same day and the reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Dr Dawadi, even though I was only coming for a prescription took an interest in my condition and reassured and informed me in a much less rushed and dismissive way than the other doctors I've encountered mostly on the Mid North Coast. Thinking about travelling the extra half hour to him and the super clinic, particularly after I read about it's indigenous origins. Great concept, really well executed, good doctor and staff. Thanks

Our GP has always listened to our concerns and done physical assessment every visit. She is not only experienced GP but also caring and understanding of cultural norms and practices.
