I had a ton of boxes after moving in to new place. Just cut them up so it’s easier to transport, when you arrive go up the ramp then follow the one way traffic and throw them in the tip labeled “cardboard”. One word of advice - BRING A FACE MASK - was dry reaching the whole time. Will definitely use again, so handy to have locally.

After moving into a new place, I had plenty of boxes to dispose of. I flattened them to make loading the car easier. Once there, you just need to go up the ramp, where the attendant will guide you. Follow the one-way signs and dispose of the cardboard in the designated tip. Be warned—the place is filthy and smelly, so it's a good idea to bring a face mask. On the bright side, it's completely FREE for household !

Came here on Saturday to get rid of some cardboard boxes. The lady at the front gate was extremely abusive and hostile for absolutely no reason. Ended up driving away and won’t be back. Would not recommend going here.

Friendly staff and easy to drop big cardboard pieces off, in the container! Just drive around and drop off. The open times on Sundays are from 8 pm until midnight in case you want to adjust it. Thanks!

Filthy. General public have to drive in to disgusting bin liquid to drop things off. Had to chuck out our shoes afterwards and the smell was all over our car and tires for weeks even after washing. Never seen such a disgusting public dump in my life - avoid unless you want to ruin your shoes and car.

I understand that waste is smelly, but the Artarmon waste facility is the filthiest, most crowded and untidy waste facility that I have ever visited.

Appalling customer service. I called in advance to confirm if the service was for free. I explained that what I had was household waste and I was told that yes, I could drop it off for free. When I got there, I was greeted by this "lovely" front desk lady (who by the way, seems to be the star of the reviews here) with "What are you doing here?" When I explained she just pointed at the sign and said "You have to pay. And you didn't call us, you must have called someplace else". When I showed her the number I called (which she confirmed as being theirs), and said that I even confirmed opening times and address on the phone, she said there was nothing that she could do about it. That she wouldn't pass on the complaint because "we don't have anything to do with the people who pick up the phone". And then along comes a bloke who repeats the same story and says "we are closed" when clearly they were not, as I was there before 5pm. At least the guy had the decency to apologise, but I very much doubt they will bother to pass on the info about this incident to the responsible department, as I was given no reassurance. So I'm doing your staff's job for you. I know you deal with rubbish and waste, but that does not have to also be the ethos of your business. This visit happened on 20 Sep 2024, 16.50pm. If you care one bit about your customers potential or otherwise, go and investigate who was at your "front desk", shouldn't be that difficult to figure it out. Find out who is giving out wrong information on the phone. Pathetic.
