If I could give Dr. Sarah Choi 10 stars, I absolutely would!

I visited Dr. Choi to discuss my very large fibroids, and from the moment I met her, I knew I was in good hands. She was not only thorough and professional but also incredibly friendly and approachable. After a series of tests, it was clear I needed a total hysterectomy, which sounded terrifying, and yes, I was very anxious about the whole procedure.

While the surgery itself went well, I did experience a lot of pain initially, mostly because the pain medication wasn't effective at first. Once the right medication was administered, things became much more manageable.

My recovery, however, went incredibly smoothly. I had surgery at 7 PM, and by 11 AM the next morning, I was up, showered, and feeling surprisingly well. I followed all of Dr. Choi’s post-operative instructions, and my recovery has been excellent. It’s now been 5 weeks since the surgery, and I’m feeling like a completely different person.

At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Choi even remembered my family members who had been there to support me during my recovery. It’s clear that she cares deeply about her patients—not just the surgery, but their overall well-being.

I can't thank Dr. Choi enough for her exceptional care. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any woman considering surgery. A visit to a surgeon is rarely an enjoyable experience, but Dr. Choi exceeded all of my expectations. If you need surgery, you’ll be in the best hands with her.

I have been seeing Dr Choi since February 2024 for my endometriosis. She has been absolutely amazing to deal with - from the information provided and her expertise to give me options other surgeons weren’t able to provide, she made me very comfortable with what we were doing before surgery. I’ve since had 2 surgeries with Dr Choi and each were a success. Her bedside manner and surgery reports are thorough and her team are great with all the scheduling and follow ups, I could not recommend her more. I have no words for how highly I think of Dr Sarah Choi. I’ve been through 2 years of chronic pain, been to 6 different gynos and had one excision surgery for endometriosis before this. Sarah is more knowledgeable than any of the doctors I’ve seen and I’ve never been treated with so much compassion. She made me feel comfortable as soon as I met her and held my hand and reassured me before surgery, did and outstanding job of the surgery and gave me the best post op care I’ve ever had. Last time I had this surgery with a different doctor I was sent home the day after when I was in a lot of pain and vomiting. This time, she kept me in hospital until she was 100% sure I was ok to leave and worked with pain specialists to arrange an outstanding post op management plan. She even gives her patients love heart shaped dressings (which was so gorgeous and gave me a good laugh). Sarah is not only an outstanding doctor but a wonderful, caring and supportive human being. After being gaslit by so many doctors, it was wonderful to have someone who truely listened to my story and acknowledged how difficult it was to be living with the kind of pain I’ve had. I wish there were more like her. It’s as shame you can only give 5 star on here because it’s not enough for this doctor. Thank you so much for what you’ve done for me Sarah.

Saying that Dr Choi is a fantastic gynae is an understatement. I’ve been to several different surgeons and I have never been listened to or cared for in the way that Dr Choi cares for her patients. She is so knowledgeable and wonderful at what she does. Dr Choi did an amazing job on my recent surgery and I could not be happier with the process as well as the outcome. I feel so lucky to have Sarah as my surgeon. She is professional, patient and considerate. I had most of my questions answered during the first consultation with her, and was able to arrange my surgery within a month. The surgery was more complicated than we expected but she did it pretty well. I could walk around the next day and feel much more alive than before. With her great skills and high level of empathy for patients, she made my whole journey become less painful.

Dr Sarah Choi was the first doctor in a long line of specialists who actually ASKED ME what I wanted to do about my condition. She listened to what I wanted for my health and fertility and explained – thoroughly, realistically and patiently – exactly what my options were.

Dr Choi has never been late to a consultation for me and she took her time with me, going through every line of my very extensive scanned reports to ensure that I understood every single thing that was showing in the scans.

Dr Choi explained everything very clearly and with patience. I finally understood exactly what was going on with me and I finally understood what I could expect following a range of different treatment options. Dr Choi did not dismiss any of my concerns and called me during follow-up consultations to discuss my concerns in more detail!

Dr Choi gave me clear and appropriate recommendations and predictions about best and worst-case scenarios following surgery (which was the option that was most appropriate for my condition). She DID NOT over-promise and under-deliver. Rather, I came out of surgery amazed at the IMMEDIATE improvement that I felt – it was far more than I was expecting.

When I was anxious going into my surgery, Dr Choi acted with compassion and professionalism and she held my hand, gave me a big smile and promised me that I was in good hands.

She was correct!

I cannot recommend this doctor highly enough. I would recommend Dr Choi for any woman who would like to be heard, offered realistic solutions that align with their own health and fertility goals, and who would like to deal with a compassionate doctor who is simply EXCELLENT at what she does.

Thank you Dr Choi! I am just so grateful I was referred to you by another of your patients… Without you I would still be struggling so much!

If only there were more wonderful doctors like Dr Sarah Choi – the world would be a better place.
