From my very first inquiry, Dr. Hugh Porter impressed me with his personal and attentive approach. Not only was the office staff incredibly friendly and welcoming, but Dr. Porter himself took the time to call me that same day to introduce himself over the phone. That thoughtful gesture immediately made me feel valued and set a positive tone for my entire pregnancy journey.

I couldn’t speak more highly of the office team — Megan, Veronica, and René — they are lovely, welcoming, and warm. I always looked forward to seeing them whenever I had appointments, which made the experience even better.

Dr. Porter’s relaxed and approachable manner made me feel extremely comfortable asking questions throughout my pregnancy. Whenever I had concerns, he was always available via text or call, which gave me a great sense of reassurance.

When I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during his brief holiday, I was deeply touched when he called me outside of work hours as soon as he returned, checking in on how I was feeling. That level of compassion really meant a lot.

I had a C-section, and the whole procedure was as relaxed and positive as I could have hoped for — a wonderful birth experience that was entirely thanks to Dr. Porter’s skill and calm presence. He continued to visit me every day during my hospital stay, making sure I was well cared for even after delivery.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Porter for his outstanding care and will definitely be returning to him when I have another baby. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a compassionate and professional obstetrician.

A Positive Birth Experience

I spent many months preparing for a natural birth with minimal medical intervention on such an important day for both my daughter and me.
Things didn’t go exactly as planned, but I have to say—it was still a truly positive experience. Dr. Hugh, his team and the hospital staff made me feel protected, supported, heard, and most importantly, well-informed. Because of that, I was able to make the best decision to keep both my baby and myself safe.

In the end, I had a C-section, and my little girl came into this world healthy—a night that was, without a doubt, incredibly special.
