My experience with the Deakin office of Canberra Imaging Group was seamless. They book in system is simple and the admin staff were courteous and efficient for me. The appointment ran on time and the sonographer was kind and gentle. Exit, payment and medicare benefit process was also simple. Will definitely use again. (The Wilson Car park app was handy for parking.)

Worst experience in my life!!
Booked me for two days.. first day system was down .. second day refused to do procedure for late 5 minutes!!!
Receptionist very aggressive & impolite… lied to my GP that I was late!! Manager is amateur not able to solve any conflict. They one time threatening that will not do procedures & other time they will call police!! Refused to give me paper to my workplace for attendance!!!
Will complain them till they pay for that

Admin that schedules appointments is really rude for no apparent reason. The admin I spoke to acted as if I'm the dumbest person she's ever spoken to. It's appalling to think that they may also be this rude to vulnerable patients. I suggest management to periodically listen to call recordings at random.

I got called and told there was an earlier appointment if I wanted, which was handy. Was met by professional staff, and the MRI was smooth and efficient! I would highly recommend paying a visit if you need any scans done 😀

As I was there waiting I can see two out of the three Receptionist are quite rude and unfriendly. I don't know if this how they were trained

The imaging people are really great, kind and helpful. However their administration people are not.

Issue no.1: I had an appointment that was early morning and was pre-paid, when coming out from the scans I went to hand over my paperwork to the admin people and was rudely spoken to just take a ticket and wait in their overfull waiting room, I tried to explain that I didn't require payment but they had none of that. After half an hour of waiting to see the admin people (happened to be the same person), they looked at my paperwork and said that's all fine, you can go now - yeah thanks for that half an hour of my life.

Issue no.2: I had a referral that had over 20 MRIs and X-Rays listed and I had 3 days of appointments. On my final day, I had finished with my last scan and I said that there was one set missing that hadn't been completed. I was fobbed off twice by different admin people. I confirmed with my Dr that the referral was correct and it should have been done, so then I rang up CIG and was then told that no I couldn't have this final MRI that they'd not completed. I asked why and they said it was already invoiced. I questioned it, and they stated that, sorry it hadn't been invoiced but the referral had been used. I stated that it hadn't and asked when this scan was completed they could not answer and instead now I have to visit the Dr again to get another referral - thanks!!!!

As mentioned at the beginning the imagining people and amazing but whoever runs their business administration has got some simple processes broken! Avoid!

Had a great experience with the ultrasound technician. Very friendly and professional. Only downside was the lack of signs when trying to find the place for the first time.
