I’ve been here a few times and all the nurses have been amazing. They are friendly, professional, take their time to listen and try their absolute best to help you. The level of care has exceeded what I’d get for the same problem at the GP. Just note that they have long waits and may not be able to help if your issue requires a GP or another medical professional.

Went here with mental health issues and concerns and was treated very abruptly and with almost zero compassion. Left crying and feeling worse. Had to book an expensive gp and travel across town last minute to get the help I need.

I think the nurse was a good person but obviously incredibly stressed herself and overworked. They couldn't provide me with any meaningful support and only felt comfortable giving me a sick certificate for one day.

I waited 3 hours in a room for a nurse to speak to me with a very short temper and abruptness that I was not ready or prepared for.

I left the centre and cried a lot in my car. More support needs to be there for people who can't afford an expensive GP, people don't have time to wait 3 hours for very little to be done.

Again, I don't think this is a staff issue. I think they are being overworked here.

We had the best visit ever to this facility. Yes we had to wait as the waiting room was full but we were seen by a very professional and caring nurse. Put us in the right medicine and advice for a UTI. Canberra is so lucky to have these walk in clinics.

Wait is not accurate with App.
Nurses are too slow in talking patients.
I understand they have background tasks but they take really long time .. Never experienced the same in Dickson walk-in they are pretty quick .

This Walk-In-Centre is open until 10:00pm 7 days a week and you will find qualified nurses to look after you, if you have Medicare card than it’s all bull bill, they even issue medical certificates if you are in need after you’re treatment, this place is less crowded than your local GP and it’s walk in as the name says so no appointment and FIFO methodology, this is great help for people of Gungalin and surrounding areas, they treat minor injuries, bandages,and even send you to Calvary with referral if you require X-ray..highly recommended place for emergency treatment and minor illness...
