My partner and I have both been to Dr. Perera for the past 2 years and have both had negative experiences. She has been quick to dismiss and wasn’t interested in listening to our issues. At one point she had ushered my partner out the door telling him that she doesn’t care and he has too many problems. Everyone I know personally that has gone to her has had negative experiences. I feel like this is poor practice from a doctor when you are coming to them with legitimate concerns. At times she had been rude and has made inappropriate comments.

I always before time of my appointments. Most of the time DR. Delay always behind checking patients. One day I was late 😪 then receiptonist says you late cannot see the Dr. Because Dr. Fully booked with the patients. But the time I arrived. Only one patient waiting.

Was there today for my 4 months baby’s immunisation and development check( that was what booked via phone two days earlier), after meeting doctor Pushpani, she mentioned she can do either immunisation or development check… reason is it takes time to do both as she is busy… she said why you come here for this?when I mentioned everywhere both are done together.. she was too nervous to talk and was continuously denying and wasted 30 mins talking. She added you can come next day book in with MACH nurse for development check. On requesting if she cannot make it, can she find someone who can do… she walked away from room and send other Dr. doctor Dilhani came to us and told you are not respecting doctor… we don’t know you and ur child .. straight away 4 month development check can be error if we do now, however I can do in 10 mins but I don’t take you as my patient and will not see you from next time. This is private centre not gov… bla bla..She was rude. We said we don’t want any service after that. We didn’t want to take risk to my 4 months old baby.
We were masking for what we were booked for… they could tell during booking time if they don’t do together.. I don't think it’s about timing they don’t have, otherwise they wouldn’t spend 35 mins to deny.
I hope they give clear instructions during booking. Or if pt is already there after proper booking for service, please do understand them and provide service.

All I needed was a quick immunisation. 45 minutes later after my appointment time I finally get seen. No warning from reception that Dr is running behind. They even have a print out saying staff are being trained to inform patients of wait times. Absolutely appalling. How can Drs get away with being so late when we make appointments and they aren't honoured

Well... I reckon Ngunnawal is an awesome general practice... For those of you that complain about some wait time.... They are great doctors... If a patient comes in and they need more than the normal gp visit time, they will spend that time with their patient... may mean some of us after may need to wait. I'd prefer that anyday than a gp rushing me out the door cos they have another patient in the waiting lounge... i'm gonna book in with them next week (I have this trigger thingy on my index finger, so I hope I don't delay them too long for your important medical emergency.

whoever was working the phone specifically on june 26th at 1:13pm, the man quiet literally hung up the phone on me mid talking. gave me attitude while i explained something serious came up and i had to cancel the appointment. whoever was working the phones i suggest you dont let them speak to anyone, talking to people clearly aint the right job for them.

The receptionist made an appointment for me. I came the next week and they said they don’t have my appointment. Was super rude, didn’t even apologize. Said that it was my fault for not realizing I didn’t get a reminder notification. I wasted my time driving all the way to be verbally abused.
