It was very crowded. The only benefit is good location
Facial mask is mandatory to enter the consultation. If not, the staff advertise to write this review for mask for free.

Our family have been with Dr Geoffrey Au for more than 10 years. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He always try to assist us as much as he can especially when it comes to our young one. MediCentral is a good medical centre with a great customer service. They are multi-language. The centre is clean, quiet and the team always make sure all patients have mask.

I wish I could give zero star. The worst GP I've ever been. Met doctor Nam Eun Kim as my son has a problem with his throat. She didn't even check the throat. When we asked, "Don't you want to check his throat? She said no.

It was a very quick consultation, not even 5 minutes. However, I was charged $145. The receptionist gave us the price list before. It's $100 for short consultation up to 15 minutes.

We asked the lady, "How come it's $145? She said yes, the doctor told that it's $145. We kept arguing, and finally, she called the doctor. Then the doctor said $100 is fine.

Never ever come back. I wish I had read google review before I went to this doctor. She didn't care about your health, money oriented. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

Guess I should’ve done my homework and read the reviews about doctor Ying Lan’s starring role in “Fast & Frustrating.” The whole appointment was over quicker than a microwave meal - less than 2 minutes! She barely said a word, and when she did, it was like pulling teeth. Not only was my issue left hanging, but I also got zero guidance on what to do next. It honestly felt like she was on a mission to kick patients out the door. Such a frustrating experience. If you're looking for actual help, look elsewhere.

Dr Geoffrey Au has been my family GP more than 10 years. I feel like he is the one of the best doctors in AU. He is very kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable doctor. ?

I am writing to share some feedback regarding a recent visit to your medical centre on 16 August .
I am an existing patient at your facility. I visited the centre today between 1:00 and 1:15 pm without an appointment, and during this visit, I interacted with a front desk staff member named George (a Chinese gentleman with short hair and glasses).

During our interaction, I informed George that I did not have an appointment but would be willing to see any available doctor. Unfortunately, George immediately informed me that the centre was fully booked without checking my Medicare details or confirming this information in your system. While I understand that availability can be limited, I was disappointed by the lack of thoroughness in his response.

After leaving, I visited another medical centre, which was also fully booked. However, the staff there were very helpful. The receptionist inquired whether my visit was urgent, and when I mentioned that I only required a doctor’s certificate, she suggested that I return to Medi Centre and request to be placed on a waiting list.

I returned to Medi Centre around 2:00 pm and spoke with another receptionist, as George was on his break. She was very understanding, took my Medicare card, and kindly added me to the waiting list. I greatly appreciated her assistance, and I was subsequently seen by Dr. Cynthia, who provided excellent care and went above and beyond in her service.

However, when I encountered George again later while waiting to pay for my HPV booster shot, the situation became more troubling. After making my payment, I mentioned to George that I was disappointed with his earlier service. His response was to explain that the centre was fully booked in the morning, which did not seem relevant since I had arrived at 1:00 pm. He also did not offer the option to wait in case of cancellations, and when I suggested filing a complaint, he appeared dismissive.

Later, George called me to discuss the situation further. While I appreciate his attempt to clarify, the conversation quickly became contentious. He mentioned that he was on break during my second visit, which is why another staff member was able to assist me. However, my main concern remained that during my initial visit, George did not offer me the option to wait or provide any alternatives. His comments during our phone conversation were particularly concerning, as he questioned whether I understood English , Do you think that you are importance here and laughed, which I found unprofessional and upsetting.

If you have CCTV footage from around 3:19 pm or a recording of our phone conversation, I believe it would provide further insight into this interaction. As someone who works in a customer service role myself, I understand the importance of addressing client concerns with professionalism and empathy, and I hope this feedback can help improve service at your centre.

I understand that misunderstandings can happen, and I do not wish to cause unnecessary trouble. However, I felt it was important to share my experience so that appropriate steps can be taken to ensure a more positive experience for all patients in the future.
