On a recent unexpected visit to SASH on the Central Coast, I found the Vet, Vet Staff, Nurses to be very helpful and extremely caring. This is what you need when you are dealing with the unknown of a sick pet. The follow up has been excellent and the explanation in depth of our pets issue has been very helpful. I just wish we didn't have to drive over 2 hours for a visit. I would highly recommend SASH in Tuggerah

We could not be more impressed with SASH Tuggerah. Every aspect of our visit was exceptional, right down to the car parking. Internal medicine specialist Dr Liz and Intern Alex, were the epitome of professionalism. Basil, our precious 10 year old cavoodle is usually a nervous wreck at the vet but we had no qualms leaving him overnight due to the plan they had in place for him. We highly recommend SASH Tuggerah. It was worth the trip from Newcastle. We will definitely use them again if we need to.

Wonderful staff and surgeons. Made to feel very welcome in a very daunting situation. So many unknowns when your beloved dog is unwell. Really scary time. The team at sash made us all feel as though our wonderful dog will be well looked after when we can't be with him.

We have had 6months of visiting sash twice monthly- the surgical team were amazing, and the oncology department - exceptional!

I cannot thank Dr Natalie enough for the care she provided not only to my dog Max, but how thoroughly she explained things to me about Max’s situation and treatment and options! The nursing staff are fantastic, so kind and caring! And the admin staff always greet you with a smile! Thank you to everyone!

I was delighted by everything.
Great communication from start to finish.
Very thorough triage and history was taken. I did not feel rushed at all.
I was given options when discussing diagnostics and was genuinely able to have input into my cat’s care.
The staff were all incredibly caring and gentle with my little old man.

VERY thankful for all the kind and compassionate staff at SASH Tuggerah. The reception staff are so kind, understanding and helpful during such a stressful time with sick pets. We appreciated the clear communication that the nurses gave us during the waiting period. The Vet reports are thorough and clear. They took such great care with our bunny, Hazel, during our 2nd visit. And during our first visit, when our bunny, Captain, passed away on the way to Emergency, the receptionist was so helpful. Plus, the cremation pack is SO beautiful. The communication in person, on the phone, and even on the email shows such professionalism and thoroughness and care. Will continue to utilise SASH Tuggerah Emergency service. Thank you for all that you do!!!

We visited SASH initially for a tumour removal surgery but then for ongoing chemotherapy once tumour cells had been found in a nearby lymph node.
Everyone was so kind and compassionate. Procedures and plans were explained well and we were always given options and kept in the loop. We were traveling from 3 hours away and the staff were very mindful of this when booking appointments and pickups. We were able to liaise via phone/email and photographs from a distance which really put our mind at ease when we had some complications and were able to get medications etc organised from far away. The whole team and experience was excellent.

Ella is a very anxious and nervous dog but was so well behaved with Dr Paul. She obviously felt safe and trusting which is an indication to me that he has a great manner with animals.
