What can I say... Dr. Eva is actively withholding my medication from me. I am prescribed stimulant medication for ADHD, and I have been diagnosed by two different psychiatrists over the past seven years. On advice from Dr. Eva, I agreed that my current psychiatrist grant her authorisation to prescribe my medication... but I am currently in QLD, and have lost my medication and without any means to return to Canberra she refuses to prescribe via an over the phone consult, despite my long-term, healthy use of my meds. She couldn't care less about my situation - citing the rule book and that I should have been prepared before I left. Eva mate, I have severe ADHD!!! I'm a little bit unorganised sometimes, and you've been my GP for more than 18 months and I've been coming to Wattle Street for the past 6 years. The lack of empathy is unbelievable.

My last GP happily prescribed and the chemist was so kind to physically post my meds to me last time I was up here in QLD and getting low. Now courtesy of Dr. Eva I have to get ANOTHER psychiatrist to reevaluate me and another GP and another authorisation - it's likely months of tests and questions before I'll get my medication again. I can't believe she has authority over my life like this, she doesn't even have the decency to grant me a short-term e-script while I sort everything out.

Huge mistake seeing Dr. Eva..... she also sent me to liver and heart specialists for apparently no reason earlier this year, cost hundreds of dollars for literally nothing. The heart specialist admitted he couldn't figure out why I was even sent there !! After the physical stress test .... he looked at my original blood test from Dr. Eva and was like "nah that's all normal...". Useless, 0/5

The doctors are good and reception staff are OK ? but the new nurse (5 ft 8 Asian lady early to mid 30s) who started has pretty ordinary bedside manners and is unprofessional in her conduct. We booked a double appointment for a vaccination of our children but she appeared to be in a rush from the moment she called us in. She repeated our children's names 5 seconds later when she could not see us, almost assuming we were not there. During the vaccination she did not have any patience with kids and rushed us out within 5 minutes and used the excuse 'she has other patients to see'. She didn't even introduce her name, didn't explain to us what she was injecting our children with including the expiry date (from my experience with vaccinations this is necessary), explain the side effects (she simply said wait 15 minutes afterwards), was quite rough with her technique and I believe the placement of her needle (mid-shaft of humerus instead of the usual deltoid muscle) was incorrect. I would not recommend requesting not seeing this nurse if you ever have a vaccination and requesting it from a doctor instead. Will be talking directly to the practice manager soon regarding this.

Waited an hour and 20mins before giving up and leaving. No communication that there was delays or indication how long the wait would be. I have also relocated to Sydney and the practice won’t provide me with access to my own medical records without a fee of $50.

Dr Tran has been my GP for over 20 years. He is a good listener and explains issues in detail in a calm manner. He has referred me to excellent specialists when required. I cannot imagine having a different GP.

Like all such suburban medical centres this is appointment centre for a group of doctors and selected medical professionals. Pleasant enough waiting room with a separate space for family kids. It sounds trivial but the high counter and even higher computer monitors make it difficult to chat effectively with the booking staff, leading to misunderstandings.

Dr Tran is good but I waited over an hour past my appointment time until I was seen. This is a regular occurrence every time I go here. Sort your booking system out and maybe reconsider how many patients you can realistically fit into a day - other people’s time is valuable too.

Do not recommend this practice. I have seen doctors all around Australia and this by far was the most frustrating experience!!! I am a professional person seeking routine medication as per my one health profile yet the practice manager treated me like I was asking for drugs of dependence, which was not the case. Felt very embarrassed and unsafe. I would have felt better going to hospital than this place!
They did however have a nice fish tank...?
