I agree with all comments. These centres are hard to get in touch with. After waiting another 6 months for my son to be seen by Katie Nash I walked out in tears and felt parent shamed due to ‘missing appointments’ I was never even aware of as you can’t get through to anyone. As a pregnant patient walking out the other day in absolute hysterics I could hardly breathe I just couldn’t believe the care we received. My partner stayed back in the room and had my back. Won’t be back. Rather pay private you clearly get better care. I thought a paediatrician was for diagnosis for our children? Why do they have to refer to 4 other programs to diagnose when we were sent HERE specially for a reason of diagnosis. A year in, haven’t got one. Only abused of missed appointments I was never made aware about because every single admin clearly have no computer skills or just simple compassion for other human beings that are normally going there for sad reasons to begin with. I’ll be taking this so much further.

The office staff are incredibly rude and have no empathy for patients. If you call and leave your details they will NEVER call you back and if you do manage to get one of the reception staff you can guarantee they will brush off any concerns you have and talk down to you like you are a child. I am yet to receive any treatment so who knows what the doctors here are like, I guess if they let their staff behave like this, what is their bedside manner like?

Same problem as all the other comments! GP sends referral first they never respond then say they left a message (which was never received) when we ring to follow up just get the same dumb answering machine message! Drs if you read these comments I suggest YOU try communicating with your front office and then address your problem

My GP faxed my referral on Tuesday. It is Friday afternoon and I have not received a phone call regarding an appointment yet. I've tried several times to ring and only heard a rather abrupt message advising that they're receiving a high volume of enquiries. I've given up on Dr Hawken's reception staff. I've found another gasroenterologist whose reception answered my call immediately.

Trying to make an appointment here for my daughter. No one answers the phone have tried multiple times just keep getting an answering machine. Will try getting in contact by email like the message stated but don't expect a response

Friendly staff at reception, visited Dr Richard Lee who was exceptional - only downside is it can be challenging to speak to someone over the phone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. You can’t contact them even if you try multiple times daily over the period of two weeks (clearly not a hypothetical). Really disappointed in the standard of care.
