The receptionists at Kanwal Village Medical Centre were nice and patient, but that’s where the positives end.

The doctor was rude, rushed through the appointment, and made me feel like I was wasting his time.
To make matters worse, he gave me the wrong prescription, and it took a whole week to get it fixed, always too busy to correct it.
I called many times a day, multiple days in a row!

Then after fixing the script still got it wrong. Just an absolute joke.

I’ve never felt so neglected and undervalued by a healthcare professional. Avoid this centre!!!

I had the worst experience. Completely neglectful doctor who doesn’t spend longer than 1-2 minutes on consultations. I’m pregnant and needed my results from an ultrasound. On my first consultation he missed the 7cm cyst on my ovary that was mentioned in the report. I had to bring it to his attention. Every consultation since then, was equally rushed with no care. The receptionists lied to me about antenatal care options. I ended up calling the central coast antenatal care program and a lovely lady that works there called the Kanwal medical centre herself to try and help me out. I was told the receptionists at Kanwal were difficult to cooperate with and that I should look for a new GP. I then had to pay for another consultation to get a referral that I had asked for multiple times before!!
They also sent me to an awful gynaecologist in Gosford. Very disappointing experience for my first pregnancy. I have now found a new GP elsewhere and I’m seeing the midwives at Gosford hospital and can say my antenatal care has turned for the positive. Would not recommend this place.

I have gone to the Kanwal Village Medical Centre now for many years. I find the administration staff courteous, especially Emily who always remembers my name. Do Hunyh is excellent and always willing to listen, does not rush you out of the door too quickly.. There is convenient parking. The only downside is that this is a totally private practice and there is no bulk billing which makes it sometimes difficult for me to make an appointment as I cannot afford the upfront payment! I would, however, not think of going anywhere else.

Fast efficient service. I couldn’t get into see my own doctor. It was a two week wait. That I got an appointment and I think I’ll be coming back to the surgery in the future very easy..

Receptionist rude, doesnt listen, talks over the top of you, definitely shouldn't be working in any kind of customer service. Formal complaint will be placed aswell. Emily Head management of Reception was just as Rude was told to hurry up when I wanted to explain what I wanted. Have never ended a phone call more mentally deflated. Cheers guys.
