I have been to this practise for 7 years but in the last few years it has gone downhill. 6 months ago a doctor told me he had no idea about menopause and I had to go see a specialist. Then today I had to pay for a full appointment for my daughter who the Dr did not examine for him to tell me she had the Flu. Results from a swab she had done that I wasn’t able to be told the result over the phone. I had to come and pay for an appointment. I think this is wrong. I was managing her illness at home but as Whooping Cough is going around I needed to get her tested for that so had no choice but to go make sure it was not whooping cough.

I have now found a new GP who I still pay for, I have no problem with that. But they know and manage my Menopause symptoms and blood tests results get given by the doctor over the phone.

You need to improve.

I have attended Caringbah Family practice for over 20 years and find the staff and doctors to be totally professional, caring and respectful.
I have utmost faith in not only my regular doctor ( Dr Susan Culhane), but also any other doctor I have been seen by over the years.
Over the years, some staff and doctors have changed but the friendly professional demeanor has stayed the same.
The practice offers a pathology service and has an attending nurse. Which is so convenient. I would recommend the doctors at Caringbah family practice.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Caringbah Family Practice. I had stitches removed from four sites yesterday by the young nurse on duty. She was warm, friendly and professional. The other nurse too was caring and made sure I had been given my test results. Skin checks are so important and I’m happy to recommend Dr. Rula Ali who did an amazing job looking after me. Whilst my skin story will be ongoing, I feel that I am in very good hands.

The new office staff have made a phone call to the doctor a massive improvement! Effie and Rosie (just to name two) are ready to assist every time with professionalism and kindness! I no longer feel I am ‘imposing’ on their time or making a difficult request!
I would also like to say how wonderful the nursing staff is. Their ability to make the patient feel relaxed is above and beyond. Thank you also to Dr Gleeson and Dr Ali for the outstanding care you have provided.

I rang to see a doctor for an upper sinus infection I’ve had for 2 months. Was told I needed to do a RAT test. Firstly, you can catch sinus and secondly there are thousands of viruses that a RAT test won’t detect so this is just Madness.

I've been attending CFP for nearly my entire life (more than 20 years), Dr Gleeson has been my GP since I was little and she's always been fantastic. Even now I've moved out of home and away from Caringbah I still travel the 15-20 mins down to CFP because it's worth the drive.

The doctors are amazing but reception can be really frustrating. As doctors often run late, I call to check if they are running on time before leaving home as I often come on my lunch break from work and don't have much time. Some receptionists are really helpful, however the one I spoke to recently told me that the doctor was running on time (clearly without checking - she answered the question way too quickly). So I rushed to get there and when I arrived, the first thing reception said was that the doctor was running late (30+ minutes).

I just love going to Caringbah Family Practice. They are so professional and always willing to help. There are 10 fantastic doctors and the reception staff are exceptional. Effie always does a superb job organising the front desk and is such a great person . Andrea always has a fantastic approach. The office manager Clarissa is outstanding keeping everyone organised and happy. Things run really well . Try the practice you will really love it and enjoy being looked after by such a great group of professionals.
My health has improved because of the wonderful care I receive.
