It was my first appointment with Dr Heidi Spillane at First Light Healthcare. The whole experience from the moment I rang to arrange a last minute appointment to walking out the door was exceptional. I have been coming to this practice for years, and I cannot recommend it more highly. Every single doctor I have seen over the years has been absolutely fantastic - caring and excellent at what they do. The reception staff are all lovely and accomodating and the space is friendly and welcoming.

I had treatment with Andy, a physiotherapist, at First Light Healthcare Byron Bay. Andy took the time to listen, and cared about me as a patient. He is extremely caring, compassionate, professional and his treatment has greatly assisted me. I would recommend Andy if you need to visit a physiotherapist for treatment. I certainly will be consulting Andy for any future Physiotherapy requirements. Andy also provided excellent advice and exercises for me to do in my home environment. These exercises will be beneficial in terms of my recovery from a recent injury.
Also, the reception staff are professional and friendly.

I was seen by Dr Sarah Konsten. I seen her while on holiday in Byron Bay. I had developed an unbearable pain in my eye. Dr Konsten was amazing: she was no-nonsense, and quickly identified the issue. She then sent me off to a great eye surgeon, and within hours my eye was fixed. I am very thankful!

I couldn’t rate this practice highly enough. I’ve always had a pleasant experience from both the administrative team and the doctors. Despite changing faces over the 6 years I’ve been a patient at this clinic, the consistency of welcoming and friendly staff, and genuinely attentive doctors has remained outstandingly high. I’ve always felt heard, taken care of and respected by all the doctors I’ve seen for both myself and my son. Such a valuable asset this essential service is to Byron bay.
