I have been visiting Dr. Mehboob Patel since more than a year now. He's extremely knowledgeable and very experienced. Explains the issues in detail and helps with the solution with informed decision making. Kurralta Park Surgery is open on Saturdays as well and take care to follow up with patients when diagnostic reports don't come out well. Nursing staff and reception desk is also very polite and helpful.

Today, my wife and I visited one of the doctors at this clinic, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible. From the start, the attention was unprofessional: my wife was trying to explain her symptoms in detail, but the doctor kept interrupting her to give a rushed diagnosis without even properly examining her.

We understand that doctors have experience and knowledge, but that does not justify treating a patient disrespectfully or showing such a lack of interest. When my wife asked if she could be referred to a specialist, he flatly refused, saying it wasn’t necessary and that he would decide if that was needed. He even implied that going to another specialist would just be a waste of money.

Let me be clear: for us, health comes first, and we don’t care how much we have to spend to make sure my wife gets the right care. We left feeling like the doctor’s only priority was to finish the appointment quickly, not to actually listen and help.

In short: a terrible experience. My recommendation — go somewhere else. As the doctor himself said, “don’t waste your money here.”

I mixed up my days when I thought i had an appt. They rang me 15 minutes after I was meant to be there to check if I was coming. I said i thought it was tomorrow but I checked and I was wrong. I just needed a new script to the admin. Team said she would see if my doctor (Dr Perera) was happy to do a phone consultation. 10 minutes later he called me and immediately sent through my E-script. Amazing group of humans

Dr Patel is a great doctor.
Dr Bishoi is incredible.
However reception staff need to stop using their native language. They need to smile and welcome people. Doesn't matter how many times I attend I'm treated like I am a complete stranger.

I had a terrible experience at this place today when I went with my father for his appointment. We checked in at 2:45 PM for a 3:00 PM appointment, but after waiting for 45 minutes, I politely asked the receptionist for an update. Her response was shockingly rude and unprofessional.

The way she spoke was completely unacceptable. Patients deserve respect and proper communication, but it’s clear that the staff here lacks basic customer service skills. This place seriously needs to train their employees on how to treat people with dignity.

I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I had a terrible experience at this place. The receptionist seriously needs to learn some manners and proper customer service. We had an appointment at 3:00 PM but ended up waiting for 45 minutes. When I politely asked how much longer it would take, she rudely told us to come back at 6:30 PM. This is completely unacceptable!

If they are running late, they should at least communicate properly with patients instead of being dismissive. Whoever manages this place needs to provide proper training to their staff on how to treat clients with respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Staff from the front office, nurses and doctors are respectful and professional in all aspects of their work. Both my wife and I consider we are fortunate to be patients in this practice.
