Marion Council never fails to deliver. 5 years in my area and most if not all request has been attended to.
Each council employee I've spoken to attending to the job has always been professional, friendly and accommodating.
This Council stands out from the rest in my opinion.
Keep up the great job and thank you, thank you.

Crap council that ignores ratepayers. 4 years ago they turned up to plant street trees in in our Court without notification or consultation. They said we were notified by letter. I door knocked and nobody was notified. On Tuesday 18/3/25 at a workman turned up at 1.15pm and removed all the dead trees. Didn't even bother to fill in the holes. Meanwhile 300 year old gum trees are being knocked over to build units and car dealerships. A complete waste of ratepayers money. The councils claim that it Plants 10,000 trees is nothing but green virtue signalling that ignores ratepayers and does nothing for the environment. I have also put in a request to get our gutters swept. They claimed they get swept every 6 weeks. Untrue. They said it was Cleanaways problem and not theirs. Pathetic.

No point talking to them I’ve had issues with my dog being attacked by the neighbours cat and 4,000 vet bill later, I’m glad he’s still alive . Asked my neighbours to contain their cat, she turned around and distributed me for my race and gender weird part on her but the council don’t do anything about it apart from letting them have their cat run around and damage people’s property and hurt others pets. They just take and do nothing. Useless.

I came to this office to pay a parking fine on my only day off (I work in retail so Xmas is full time in retail) office works 9-5. I came in at 12.30pm and the office is closing for their Christmas party celebrations during business hours. They would not accept me to quickly pay while I had the correct cash amount and expect me to take a day off to come in and pay the fine. This is bullshit it's like I'm begging to pay the fine. Ridiculous. I only use cash it's the only way I can pay, very pathetic for Australian Government.

You cannot sell the community housing Abbeyfield at Edwardstown. Have a heart. Support the most vulnerable in your community. This is not about rehousing them - it’s allowing them to stay in a place they call home with housemates whom they love and trust.

Hi and a big shout out to the staff at Marion Council.
I ranr the council about a tree in my street of Sheidow Park that had some very low branches. The reason for calling is I have no right peripheral vision, I did not want to go onto the road if I could help it to avoid the low branches.
The council had the situation fully resolved in a very timey manner.
Thank you so much.
Phil

Again, City of Marion couldn’t be bothered to assist or to offer any solutions to the local communities, instead will quote legalities, and pass the forever bouncing ball to “not our problem”!
Thanks for nothing.
Utterly useless.
