I attended urgent care to avoid the hospital emergency department with Chest pain. I was see immediately and all attending staff were so helpful, friendly and thorough. If you are a 1st time visitor ask for actual paperwork to fill in rather than the QR code as that takes forever and they won't see you until it uploads regardless of how bad your health is.

I come on on a Sunday thinking i was doing the right thing as it wasnt an emergency. Couldnt get a GP appointment until the Tuesday. Nurses were brilliant however the GP was dismissive, saying we dont usually treat people like you. Clearly says on the board outside, mild illnesses including respiratory symptoms. I will think twice next time about using this service.

Urgent critical care? What a joke. 1 doctor and 2 nurses and a waiting room absolutely full of sick people!! No triage. I happened to be in desperate need of pain relief, and in too much pain to wait there for hours. So I left. The receptionist however was very nice and I guess doing her best to help. A lost cause tho as far as I’m concerned.

On Friday, 17th February the waiting room in emergency was packed. I had a cut a serious cut on my foot. I registered, was seen by nursing staff, and a quick check by a doctor before being expertly stitched up, in no more than 1.5 hours. The staff were all delightful professionals. Thank you so much

Amazing experience here on Sunday.
RN Amy was super professional and helpful, she dealt with my injury swiftly and had me sorted out, wound cleaned and glued and bandaged. Tetanus shot administered. Out of there in 30 mins.
Very much appreciated the service 🙏🏽

Was told 'you may not be able to see a Dr' - which surprised me, as there was only 5 people in the waiting room at 6pm - so waited an hour, only to leave without seeing anyone.(and very few people were called to see a Dr). Don't know how well staffed it is, but the service is non existant. The following day my GP told me to come in urgently after I described symptoms to the receptionist. Now on antibiotics to prevent sepis (which can quickly become life threatening). Don't waste your time going to 'urgent care' because there is no 'urgency' in treatment! Won't ever go there again, would rather go to FMC.

Walked in with high fever and shortness of breath, and being immuno compromised was concerned They were fantastic. Waited for 10 minutes and then had bloods, swaps, urinalysis, and scans. Follow up was incredible. Fantastic work guys. I would have waited in an ED for 8 hours
Even rang me 2 days later for follow up
Thankyou so much Tracy and Max x

I just want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Chris M. and Nurse Jenese! They were so efficient, professional, and caring. The care I received was amazing.
I went to FMC ED earlier today with a few days of foot pain that had worsened to the point where I was concerned about DVT. I was referred to the urgent care clinic, where I had my scans done within two hours to rule it out. My pain was managed, and I was able to go home feeling mentally and physically relieved.
This is the best service for those who fall between ED and GP-level urgency. Let’s continue spreading some patience and kindness—healthcare needs more amazing people like them!
