Dr Jason Ray is stuck inside a box and is too afraid/lazy to expand his education and study new treatments.

Has absolutely zero compassion for people coping with life long pain and is frankly not interested in them all , he just wants to treat the easy patients he knows he can fix quickly and won't even try and help people manage life changing complex injuries. Doesn't make eye contact at all during appointments and likes to ASSUME peoples mental health. He doesn't offer much in regards to treatment , he only knows one way and if it doesn't work for you then he won't try and treat you.

He is very interested in trying to sell his books to you during the appointment and will go as far as saying in purchasing his books you will have a better chance at recovering.

DR Ray we are not here to buy books, we are already paying you to provide a pain management plan that works for the individual, not everyone fits inside your box and they may require different treatment .

I wouldn't refer to him as a specialist, a GP would be able to help you alot better than Dr Jason Ray, don't waste your time, effort or money on him, he's not worth it .

Dr. Jason Ray's competence, advanced knowledge and skill has made it possible for me to continue to walk and actively engage in both life and work without the need for heavy pain relief, something I could only begin to dream would be possible, prior to being referred to Dr. Ray. I am infinitely grateful for the way his knowledge and skill has, and continues to, enrich my life. Eileen.

I wish to thank Dr.Gunjeet Minhas for his attention and help in regards to an ongoing pain, mobility problems from Medical Problem "Myodil Arachnoiditis" which was complications from a toxic dye put in my spine for a myelogram , some 40 yrs ago.
Drs had turned me away, when all i was looking for was help to cope.
Pain Management has been handled to date with patches and cream and is much improved.
Dr. Minhas's attention to detail, care and understanding surpassed my expectations. I would gladly recommend him to others for pain management with accreditations 10 out of 10. Very Happy patient..-Marion

I saw Dr Jason Ray for my lower back pain which was strong enough to make me take time off work. It took him over a week to read a two sentence referral from my GP so I could book an appointment.

During the $300/hr appointment, I was asked a lot of irrelevant social questions but not about my pain intensity or pain medications. He then offered epidural injection and nerve ablation which would cost me a fortune since I don't have a private insurance. After trying to get the quote for over a week, I gave up.

The receptionist didn't even submit the claim to Medicare or gave a tax invoice. After chasing the invoice for 3 days, I did it myself.

It later turned out I can do the steroid injection bulk billed to Medicare at the Qld Xray (he never even told me about this). When I tried to get a referral from my GP, it turned out Dr Ray didn't even bother to send a report to him.

Out of all my experiences with GPs and specialists, this was by far the worst. Having a chronic pain can be physically and socially debilitating. But you definitely won't be getting any help from Dr Ray who just doesn't care. So don't bother.

Dr Evans was not helpful in finding a better solution to my pain treatment. For the price I expected more research into my situation. Her assistant spent more time with me than she did.
