Ridiculously slow!!
I visited the Australian Clinical Labs at Emerald Hills Medical Center today for my and my partner’s blood test. The numbers we got were 16 and 17. Even after waiting for an hour the number ongoing was 10. Other people waiting outside said that they were waiting for 2 hours to get their test done.
2 hours to get a blood test done Seriously
The management should consider bringing in a bit more experienced staff for this.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the reception staff at Emerald Medical Centre. Not only were they unwelcoming and dismissive from the start, but they also completely mishandled my request for test results. My doctor specifically told me to go to reception after my appointment with her and inform them that they needed to send my results, which I did — yet they never followed through.

On top of that, I’ve been hung up on and kept on hold multiple times when trying to book urgent doctor appointments. After days of waiting for my results, I had to call again, only to be told that they needed to get approval from my doctor again, who won’t be available until next week. This lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy is unacceptable, especially when it comes to matters as serious as healthcare.

The constant delays, poor service, and disorganization is honestly disappointing and unprofessional from the reception staff.

Dr Georgina is one of the best GP’s I have seen. Since moving to the area I was finding it difficult to leave my old GP despite the extensive travel to and from, but since finding Dr Georgina I have finally felt safe enough to leave. She is extremely kind, patient, and empathetic and looked after me extensively throughout my pregnancy and now into the postpartum phase. This is a relatively new and clean practice with lots of different allied health professionals. The practice nurses are very nice and knowledgeable, have seen them many times for various vaccines. The only downside is it takes a long time to get through on the phones to make an appointment - but I get through that by booking online through Health Engine! You may have to wait to see certain doctors and they are not bulk billing anymore which is unfortunately the norm, but I don’t mind it when I receive such incredible care from Dr Georgina.

Dear Management of Emerald Hills Australian Clinical Labs & Emerald Hills Medical Centre .

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your Clinical Lab, housed within Emerald Hills Medical Centre.

On 19th Oct 2024, I visited your facility for a blood test. Despite arriving at 10.00am, I found myself in a long queue with approximately 8 people ahead of me. The wait time was excessive, with an average of 20-30 minutes per patient.

I was particularly concerned about the apparent response & inexperience of the pathologist and the guidance we received from the Medical centre’s receptionist . When I inquired about the lengthy wait time, the response was unsatisfactory, dismissing the concerns as "standard" operating procedure.

In contrast, my previous experience at Clinical labs at Minto Mall Medical Centre location was far more efficient. The staff there provided prompt and courteous service.

I urge you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to improve the patient experience at your Emerald Hills location.

Additionally, I would like to request that the management of Emerald Hills Medical Centre be made aware of this feedback. While the clinical lab is a separate entity, sharing the same complex, their performance directly impacts the overall reputation of the medical center.

Due to my recent experience, I will unfortunately be unable to recommend your Emerald Hills location to others.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We don’t have too many negative experiences at this medical centre.
We have nearly always been able to get into the same doctor whenever we book, but if needed there are a couple other really good ones as well. Those few doctors have always been great with our young children.
1 doctor we 100% refuse to see because she told me incorrectly that I was more then likely miscarrying when I had no signs or results saying I was.
And the pathology (clinical labs) they are slow most of the time and so depressing like they dislike their jobs.

Apart from those couple of observations and experience it is generally a pretty good centre.

I dont usually write reviews however this called for it.
Staff were lovely at reception. However a few admin errors which were easily fixed by them.

Would not recommend the doctor. Be aware "my kid clinic" not any type of clinic. I could of got more information from my gp and more compassion. I could of looked his solutions on Dr google. The Dr basically said give your son some pills and come back in three weeks. No assessments, no service referrals, no information about anything. I had to ask for a referral to child psychologist, alternative options and services before just jumping on a script. I do not appreciate a script happy doctor. I did not appreciate the time waste and waste of money. Not okay. Being a doctor is a serious job hence the serious pay check. People come to you vulnerable, for guidance and HELP. I'd hate to see how many misdiagnosed people have been in the hands of this man. Not happy! Not okay.
If you're looking for help and a real assessment I do not recommend my kid clinic. No wonder there was no wait. No wonder every second person is diagnosed with something new everyday.

Good dr here!

But management doing a great job.

I sit on a chair next to windows always because it was close to windows ( better phone reception as this place phone reception is awful) and close to physiotherapy room. The management comes up with this idea. Have a look at the picture. Very dissatisfied with level of kindness.
I give two start for physiotherapist and GP here

The customer service is appalling. When I arrived there were three members of staff at reception but none said hello or acknowledged me for a few minutes and just left me standing there waiting while they looked “busy”. Then finally when they did see me the greeting was cold and impolite. At least Dr Alex was brilliant and knew his stuff. He gave excellent care and referral.
