Thank you to the team at vision potential-we have had great success with the eye therapy program. My daughter is now reading with fluency and now has a lot more confidence at school. Even though the focus of the therapy was to strengthen her eyes, it has also helped her to realise that with perseverance and dedication, great outcomes can be achieved. I have to admit that at the beginning of the program, the cost concerned me (we all have tight budgets right?) but when you see the difference it makes to their health and confidence- it’s worth it.

Many thanks to Louella & Rebekah for their help with my son’s vision therapy. We could see the improvement he has with his vision after only a couple of sessions. At the end of the sessions, my son’s prescription has come down considerably and he is able to read many more lines down the chart where he would previously be struggling. Louella & Rebekah were great and encouraging and my son totally enjoyed the sessions. We would certainly recommend anyone with any vision concerns to see Louella and her team at Vision Potential.

Louella and her team were the best thing that has happened to my 7 year old. After struggling for 1.5 years and even being recommended by a teacher to hold her back, we have gone to Lou, was the thrird behavioural optometrist we have visited.
We were recommended vision therapy and it was hard and time consuming and incredibly frustrating but worth every cent and every minute dedicated to it. My beautiful daughter can read and is thriving at school. She can focus and is no longer reversing letters and numbers. She loves her glasses and yes, they are more expensive than specsavers but they are also made differently to specsavers with behavioural lenses.

I would like to thank the team at Vision Potential for all the help and understanding with my 2 children. They were recommend to me by our primary school when my son was struggling / falling way behind in class. We went along (I didn't even know what a behavioral optometrist was) and got his eyes tested, the results showed among other things that he had poor muscle strength in his eyes. We put him into the vision program which helped with his reading, spelling, writing and concentration. My son moved up two reading levels in 6 months and is now able to work at the same level as his class mates. I then had my daughter tested which showed a similar issue but we caught this much earlier on and went thru the program with her as well.
Both my children have improved so much and would recommend Vision Potential to anyone with children struggle in school. The team are all friendly and happy to answer any questions I had.

I took my daughter here in April 2016 for an eye exam and she was prescribed glasses. $85.25 was bulk-billed to Medicare and I was then charged a further $429.00 for the glasses, therefore the total bill was $514.25. My private health paid $229, therefore my out of pocket was $200.
The number of healthcare professionals who I know and have seen my daughter have all commented that her glasses are too big for her.
My daughter has recently lost those glasses so I went to Specsavers with the original prescription I got Vision Potential and bought 2 pairs of glasses for $199 and they tell me that if she had to be examined again the exam is bulk-billed to Medicare anyway.
In conclusion Vision Potential is a very unprofessional and over-priced optometrist who I certainly would not recommend.

Louella and Emily have been a great help with my sons poor muscle strength in his eyes.
We put him through the eye therapy program and he has come leaps and bounds with his reading and concentration.

After a very thougha assessment for my daughters eye, she was diagnosed with a turned eye (lazy eye).
I was told she would be seeing double because of this condition and that eventually with out treatment her brain would favor one eye and leave her other eye with very poor vision. They also didn't reccomend surgery but 12 months of vision therapy once a week for $100 a pop, but she may need 2 year's... or 3... after researching found out vision therapy is not at all proven . So I wanted a second opinion and went to my gp and got referred to lady cilento childrens eye clinic and I'm so happy I did. She has a very rare eye condition that dosn't cause her to see double or will she lose vision in one eye and vision therapy would have done nothing. Only option is surgery. I understand that not everyones cases will be like my daughters but I reccomend to get a second opionion. Vision potential are sales people and don't want whats best for you they want to line there own pockets.

Already seeing improvements after 1 session. Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries are terrible to deal with but VP has allowed my son to make improvements in his endurance, and eyesight which in turn will improve his ability to cope with school.
