The girls at ormeau vet lounge always have such a positive and welcoming attitude. They are super friendly with my little dog zephyr, he loves them ! They have offered great advice and I love how they have little treats at the front for your dog ❤️

After an interstate move I brought my sick 15yr old toy poodle to The Vet Lounge which was highly recommend by a family member. I was so impressed with the service, not only did they squeeze her in within a couple of hours, they treated my dear girl with great care and respect, I was also given a lot of information to help with her care and then a few days later a follow up call to check on her well-being, which I'm pleased to say she was fully recovered. I am happy to know I now have a new vet I can trust to help when I need it with my dear little old puppy.

Dr. Brie from VetLounge Ormeau is beyond incredible—she’s easily the best vet I’ve ever encountered in my life, and I’ve had pets throughout my whole life. From the moment we met, she showed exceptional care, professionalism, and compassion for both Bambi and me. Her kindness, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made this the most positive vet experience I’ve ever had.

Not only did Dr. Brie come fully prepared, having reviewed Bambi’s old records (from previous vets) beforehand, but she also took the time to explain every aspect of Bambi’s condition. She went through her x-rays (various from records) clarified all my concerns, and helped me understand what was truly going on with Bambi’s health. She addressed my fears in such a kind and reassuring way, replacing them with clear facts and a solid understanding of the situation.

It was clear from the moment Dr. Brie began working with Bambi that she truly cares about every patient as an individual. Her ability to connect with Bambi and approach her care so thoughtfully made all the difference.

Dr. Brie created a care plan for Bambi that included a referral for therapy to support her needs as a senior dog which was amazing and exactly what I hoped for. She even took extra time to double-check medications, ensuring I felt completely confident in giving them to her at her age and condition. At every stage, she explained costs clearly and helped me understand what to expect, so I felt fully informed and prepared. When I asked about future care, like Bambi’s dental needs, she took the time to explain everything in detail including costs etc , making sure I understood how the process works and what to plan for.

What truly sets Dr. Brie apart is how safe and heard she makes you feel. She listens without any judgment on and genuinely respects your need to understand the depth of your pet’s body, health and care. Her explanations were detailed and thoughtful, and she never hesitated to clarify or expand when I had more questions. I left feeling informed and reassured, something I haven’t experienced with other clinics.

Going to the vet can be such a stressful experience, but Dr. Brie’s professionalism and kindness made me feel completely at ease, even at a time of uncertainty. Her staff were also so lovely —so kind and helpful, adding to the whole positive experience.

If you’re looking for a clinic/vet who truly cares and takes the time to go above and beyond for both you and your pet, Dr. Brie is the one. I can’t thank her enough for the experience and what she’s done for Bambi and for giving me peace of mind after so many years. I’m so grateful I found Dr Brie and my dogs forever Vet❤️

Amazing care and super helpful. All the staff are great. They look after all our doggos and take the utmost care with them. They're super helpful at short notice when we have random issues. They always follow up and provide after care, and they are very reassuring when I'm worried about our little fur-fam. Highly recommend using The Vet Lounge in Ormeau. Thanks team!
