We cannot speak highly enough of Glendale!!
LITERALLY from the Cleaner to the Residential Manager, and EVERY ONE in between, have been warm, friendly, caring, GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY to help and assist. They all felt like family!!! When I walked into the facility I felt like I stepped into HOME! I felt I entered a warm, caring and safe place with staff greeting you and picking a quick uobeat chit-chat!! Yes, as everywhere that there are humans, things do go wrong from time to time BUT HERE the difference is the attitude and the willingness to take on board mentiined issues and make necessary adjustments when required - all working together in harmony for the best outcome of your loved ones! A breath of fresh air!!!! I do have experience with loved ones in other aged care facilities in Townsville, but Glendale far exceeds them all!! Not just because of the clean, modern and well planned facility, but so much more its excellence is found in the heart, care and kindness of the STAFF working there. THE PULSE OF GLENDALE IS ITS STAFF!! Do yourself a favour, be diligent to ensure a placement for your loved one at Glendale!!! I did, and I am eternally greatful for doing so!!!!!

Clean attractive surroundings. Staff make a real effort to keep residents entertained. My Mum was here for over two years. Staff always willing to work through any issues or problems. Like every other facility, more staff would be wonderful.

New and very clean facility. Large with many residents. A bit confusing at first due to many corridors. Each resident has a private room with private bathroom and TV.
