My wife was 14 minutes late to her 2:30 appointment today—yes, late, but apparently, that’s a crime deserving of a royal snub. She trusted her GPS, which graciously led her to the wrong location, Mater QLD X-ray, but of course, that’s completely her fault, right? Once she realised, she rushed over, and heaven forbid, arrived 14 minutes behind schedule.

The reception staff? Absolutely wonderful—warm, understanding, and clearly well-versed in basic human decency. Then out comes the ultrasound tech, who clearly has more important things to do than deal with patients. You’d think 14 minutes was a personal insult the way she carried on. Not a hint of compassion, just a cold, dismissive refusal to do the job she’s, you know, paid to do.

Now, I understand—being late isn’t ideal. But really, are you so flawless that a mere 14-minute delay is grounds for a complete shutdown? Never been late to anything in your life, I take it? Must be nice to live in such a perfect bubble. Meanwhile, this wasn’t just some casual visit—it was a critical ultrasound, and now, thanks to your stellar attitude, we’re forced to delay it for an entire month.

So, thanks ever so much, “ultrasound technician.” You’ve really outdone yourself. You’ve shown us all what true professionalism looks like—cold, condescending, and utterly lacking in any trace of empathy. Well done.
