This place is outstandingly good. Reasonably new residents to Townsville. Both my partner and myself have now had different reasons to use this facility.
I have had multiple procedures at different places in metropolitan Melbourne, both as a patient and also as guardian for my kids, so I’ve got a lot of experience to compare to.
The way this place is run with high efficiency stands out as by the far the best I have ever encountered.
The staff are very competent, friendly, reassuring in what is a highly stressful situation.
Everything is explained fully, they introduce themselves; nothing is too much trouble.
The only downside is that is a small facility and I’m pretty sure limited to fairly quick turnaround procedures.
It would be great if they were able to expand, because it would certainly be utilised.

The staff members are so wonderful and supportive. They take the time to know you and encourage/support you. When you walk in through the doors to weeks after they have your back to answer your questions and help you heal. I can not say thankyou enough to ALL of you.

I Was booked in to have a Endoscopy and Colonoscopy on the 8th December, I sent the paperwork through to the TDS on the 28/10/2022. After doing all the prep work needed for these procedures including getting up at 4am on the morning of the procedure to complete the clean out of my system (not nice) I arrived for my book in to be told that they had to cancel my procedure and I would have to rebook with the Mater Hospital! They were very apologetic about it and the staff member who gave me the bad news, admitted that I should have been told earlier and it was their fault! Not much help, now that I’ve got to do all the prep work again in January when I can get the procedures done at the Mater Hospital.

A lot of hidden fees and costs that you are not told about. Please avoid them as much as you can. They trying to play dumb in saying that they don't know. Incompetence or simply crooks.

Nurses and Admin staff are friendly, caring and work hard to put your mind at ease. Dr Fairley is a gentleman as always. Great place.
