Has this young las named emma, she was kind, sweet and attentive to my needs. Had to checkout around 500$ worth of items and this amazing girl did it in 3 mins. She was like the flash. Suuuuppperrrrr speedy. Definitely deserves a raise. Will definitely be coming back.

Really don’t like the video playback of how you place the items in your bags at the self serve. Twice it’s insisted that I have done it incorrectly and I did nothing wrong - I have been using these for years now - insulting to the customer! Get rid of it or I’ll permanently shift to Coles….

This Woolies definitely needs some work. A lot of staff members but not many of them actually working. 4 men in the same aisle just laughing and talking. Only one girl working hard at the register and for 10min there was a cracked egg on the floor which I stepped on and no one came to clean it up or do something about it. A lot of empty shelves and needs a lot of organisation and cleaning.

Positive, negative, positive.
Went to Woollies at Coolum yesterday to avoid the holiday crowds. Found the store scrambling, successfully, to try and restock. A fair experience, with bakery items stripped bare, some other items reduced in price for impending public holiday.
However...
Purchased, around 15:00 among other items, a hot chook which was to be eaten for dinner.
Today both of us suffering chicken revenge with urgent and repeated trips to the toilet. Trips that were filled with extremely forceful events of high velocity and BBQ chicken feel about it.
The finger cannot be directly attributed to the offending plastic encased foul, however doubt of its quality crept into our mind. As we were shopping for said chook, we took a photo of some drastically reduced item in the asian/indian aisle. Please see attached photo. It was taken and gave us a chuckle at the time. Little did we expect that our find and photo may have been indicative of the level of freshness generally.
Please note item in store, in sealed pack and although reduced, could hardly be called a bargain with its green furry skin growing to a level of quality that Alexander Fleming would be proud of. (Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin)
Attempting to finish on a high. Tummies are still not right, we didn't purchase the 'Naam dippers' so that saved us further grief and experience at register was pleasant.

I did the above review approximately a week ago, give or take a day.
As we passed by the hot chickens... Definitely not tempted this week, we remarked on the lack of some items and abundance of others. With not a roll of toilet tissue in sight we ventured again to the Asian/Indian aisle to check on how the naan bread was going. As can be seen by second photo submitted, it's going well and not totally surprised, has not yet been removed. Understanding of shortages, including staff, I am surprised someone higher up the food chain within Woolworth's does not monitor the feedback pages of Google. After all they are the 'fresh food people'
