It's been raining in Brisbane for the past week and a half, so a trip up to Coolum was a welcome escape. We ate at a fabulous cafe, where the food was coeliac friendly, and then wandered the shopping precinct. Shops fantastic. Then we walked along the beach, and whilst there were heavy clouds, there was definitely no rain

Coolum Village is excellent except for one major incident that happened today with my wife falling to the ground and injuring her left knee and elbow!
It happened inside the Ghanda Clothing Store where they're supposed to have CCTV monitoring as advertised in their shop window,but the system is inactive,and there are at least three or four old style floor ramps that haven't been modified to stop customers landing on their faces!

Very Difficult to get in the first xarpark with someone coming out and Pedestrians going everywhere as well. Maybe needs to be one way in and our another way. Got abused by some person who couldn't see the whole story. I saw the mother and kids there. The other vehicle wouldn't move so I could take wider turn. The mother and kids wouldn't move either so all a stalemate. Makes it very stressful when you have to give way and none of the others who have the right to move don't move
