We finally have our mother out of this pigsty after 3.5 years of battling poor care, mostly incompetent staff and poor leadership. They passed on covid to her and then neglected her recently - she lost 5 kg in 6 weeks as a result. On the day we moved mum her room smelt like a men's urinal at Kings Cross.
We have formally reported the home to the Aged Care Commission. If we couldn't get them to change for our mother as a result of serious complaints and regular meetings with them, then at least we've raised the alarm for other residents there.
Our elderly deserve so much better than what this home provides.

Night time meals, not good. Night time not enough staff residents have to wait to long for staff to attend to there basic needs. During the day the Wendy hucker nursing home seems well run. If you want to see what really goes on you need to be there after hours. It's a totally different place at night.
