I booked my appoinment 3 weeks in advance for the 14th of Dec. I called 3hrs before to confirm the appointment, the answering machine lets me know the practice is closed on Saturdays. The receptionist booked me in for a day the practice was closed. Be warned, theyll still book you in and waste your time. Make sure the receptionist doesnt book your appointment for a Saturday.

I haven’t seen a doctor here for some time but past experiences have been pretty awful.. One time I saw a doctor to get a referral for a plastic surgeon to have some scar revision done on scars that appeared indinted as a result of open heart surgery as a child. On the referral letter the doctor literally wrote for correction of “ugly” scars. Who writes that on a professional document.. I cried in my car on the way home.

Could not ask for more kind and helpful ladies in reception, think the world of them. This practice has been having difficulty getting doctorate stay after accreditation but the ones that remain do their best..

I attend this medical centre only when my other GPs are booked out, usually just to have repeat scripts filled. Often the behaviour and attitude of the Practicioners is un-caring and emotionally repugnant. If you doctor has a medical student with them, I'd recommend you'd ask they don't observe your appointment as I've found the doctors try to change and alter long term prescriptions for demonstration and teaching purposes, which is stressful as a paitent. Even getting a script filled here doesn't go without an in appropriate comment; I have never felt less like a person than at Mayfield Medical Centre. I wouldn't attend here if I had other bulk billing options.

The receptionist here are so rude, with no manners. When I rang to explain, I was running late, because I went to the wrong address, I am new to the area, and when I googled the address, an old address came up for the same Dr, but I didn’t know that at the time. The young lady, on the phone, didn’t care, and said well, we will have to reschedule in a nasty tone. I explained, I needed my prescription filled, and the young lady Sighed, in an most unpleasant voice, and said well the Dr will just have to stay back then. I ended up cancelling, my appointment, and went to another Dr near by, who where much more understanding. I got no address on my reminder text message, for my appointment, to show me the correct address…. From the reviews, I can read that others say how rude the receptionists are too.

The receptionists are the rudest group of people I have ever encountered in my life and make it their number one priority to make you feel absolutely terrible. Booked an appointment at 8:30am (first appointment of the day) and Dr. Yunis didn't arrive until 8:45am, with no apology at all. You'd probably be better off staying at home googling your symptoms, because that's all the doctors here will do for you anyway.

A great first experience!
After booking in 3 days prior, I was greeted by friendly receptionists and had a very short wait. I had my appointment with Nurse Camilla and Dr Younis, both were lovely.
I was in and out within 20 minutes.

Their website states "We pride ourselves on our ease of access being open 7 days a week" and then says on the "Services" page: "We are closed on Sundays."
I am wary of a medical centre that has such contradictions in their own web site and am hesitant at what else will be difficult.

*edit* July 2018: the receptionist messes up and makes the appointment with the WRONG DOCTOR and then accuses you of drug seeking because it wasn't your normal doctor. Incompetent, judgmental, and seriously SHOULDN'T have access to people confidential medical records when they sit there discussing patients in earshot of the whole waiting room.
This place is only good for a medical certificate for a one-off, anything requiring more medical advice should NOT be handled by this center.
