I have always had good treatment and diagnosis here. A special shout out should go to Dr. Javier Camargo. Javier’s well considered care has certainly saved my life. Javier doesn’t panic and is s very sensible, yet active when he needs to. He is extremely personable and I feel he genuinely cares. I’m lucky to have Javier as my GP.

Love Dr Dale Wilson. Dale is the most caring, thorough, kind, understanding and knowledgeable GP I have ever seen. The wait can sometimes be long but Dr Dale is worth it. We unfortunately saw Dr Joanna Lin recently for a last minute but urgent visit as Dale was unavailable - incredibly disappointed with the service from Dr Lin which was passive aggressive, patronising and lacked any care or interest. Just go to Dr Dale Wilson

They always have a long wait past the appointment time which is fine. However twice now I have rung ahead 20mins before to check if they were running on time before giving my young child a vaccination as she is very anxious about them.
Both times we were assured that they were on time, and had to then wait either 30mins and then one hour PAST the appointment time. This meant that my kid had a major meltdown both times as it is hard for a kid to sit in a GP surgery and be brave for such a long time pre vaccination. If you are running late just let us know when I call 20mins before and I will work around your timing!

I had been going to Leichhardt GP for approximately seven or eight years. Initially I thought of this is a fantastic practice. Sadly over the last couple of years the service and care has deteriorated drastically as mentioned in other reviews. The no call means good results policy is completely unreliable. I followed up on a result that I had not been contacted about and it turned out that the result was not normal I recently decided to swap to Abbotsford medical practice which by the way is fantastic. I requested my medical details be transferred and was almost immediately told by LycaGP that the only way to do this would be via registered post at a fee of $20. I suggested I would just pop in and pick up my records in person after which they consulted a manager, called me back and told me that that was fine, but the administrative time involved would still require a fee of $10. Australia Post charges $6.75 for registered post so I’ll leave it up to you to interpret the inconsistencies here.

Incredibly frustrating experience. One of my test results was missing when I had my follow up consultation. The Doctor said she will email it to me but never did. After numerous follow ups, finally I was asked to book for the third consultation to get the result that was supposed to be ready a week ago except for I have to wait for additional 2.5 weeks for the third consultation to happen.

I am not giving this GP one star only because the receptionists are professional and polite, they did what they can to follow up.

I am a new patient to this medical centre, and I’ve been very impressed by it so far. The reception staff are the friendliest I’ve ever encountered at a GP ( I’ve met some incredibly unfriendly ones!) and were incredibly welcoming at my first visit. I haven’t had to wait long at all for my appointments, which has been greatly appreciated! Dr Joanna Lin is excellent. My first appointment with her was in the late afternoon and I was so impressed by how kind and friendly she was and how she took the time to get to know me as a new patient. I’ve found her incredibly knowledgeable, patient in answering my questions and very reassuring. I’ll definitely continue seeing Dr Lin and this clinic.

I've been going here for about 18 years and it has progressively gone from excellent to poor. Today I had an 8.30am appointment and was still waiting at 9am. I wish this was a one off but you just know when you go there you'll have to wait then be rushed through by the doctor. The online booking system is ridiculous so you end up having to call with a wait there too. Such a shame.
