I recently took over the care for my nephew who has schizophrenia. Over the previous 6 weeks his case worker has been on leave excessively false information only to build her own self esteem profile. The Doctors try their best to help him but are working within a broken non communicative health system, leaving the most vulnerable to sink. I hope the time delays in receiving the care needed he will be alive

I rang at 626 pm. waited some time. left details forward call back. it was a Saturday. however it is now 1020pm. 4 hours later and no call. friend was post stroke with panic attacks and needed something. after a bit morecthan half hour I called ambulance service. still haven't heard from mental health. 😕

I rang to return a missed call concerning receiving information about a Patient and was asked "who are your which I told them andxreply received was 'what do you want'Lucky zi wasn't in a crisis otherwise would be dead by now

First, I have unfortunately been contacted by The Acute Care team approximately four times at various stages over the last four plus years. They are incompetent, have gotten information I have told them wrong on too many occasions and have done nothing but frustrate me. It is repulsive, rude and incompetent.

Second, they had no resources for me. They had nothing to offer me. They kept asking me what I want from them and I replied "you have contacted me for years and have never helped me. What do you have to offer?". THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER AND MADE THAT CLEAR! They are referring my case to my GP. WOW! THANKS FOR NOTHING!

Finally, stop wasting funds on this service and get some psychologists and psychiatrists available for people who bulk bill. Fund care for the community! AND GET A DBT PROGRAM FOR OUR AREA SINCE ST VINCENT'S LIE ABOUT PUTTING PEOPLE ON THE WAIT-LIST FOR DBT & DON'T!!! FOR YEARS!! Then, St Vincent's CLAIM People are out of cache when they stick up for themselves and ask why the program hasn't accepted them in years.

Acute Care team then referred me to my private insurance which I clearly stated have programs that aren't afforded or available as well. They would not assist in helping me utilize my private insurance and find programs/their costs as that is "out of their scope!"

This Acute Care team are worthless and a waste of our tax dollars. They aren't capable of listening and getting details correct and have nothing to offer.

I just came across the rudest and most patronising receptionist ever. In a phone call which lasted for less than 5 mins, she repeatedly cut me off and spoke over me; she wouldn't even have the courtesy to listen to my enquiry to the end. Bad luck for me today?

This company saved my life.
I was having what I didn't know at the time to be severe anxiety that I could not breathe.
Every time I stoo up my heart rate would race.
I had been to the hospital multiple times and had every scan you can think of, of my head, chest and heart and bloodtests. Everything was showing normal. I could not even keep food down due to not being able to breathe. It was a living hell. I had pretty much given up on life and decided to phone this line and spoke with someone and they sent two doctors out to see me the following day. It was when Covid had first started so it was difficult to get an appointment to see a doctor. I was shocked that they were able to send someone out so fast. The two doctors that saw me were extremely helpful and polite and were able to give me the help I needed and I am really appreciative for what they did for me.

Such a pathetic service rather pawn you off to other services, tell you to try natural methods and things like going to the gym I'm sorry how is that possible for someone with significant disabilities? They do not care at all about people, hospitals and doctors say to call them but you are better off not bothering. Just awful awful service thanks for nothing.

If I could give no stars I would. On hold for over an hr. To be put through to another number to wait there even longer to then be told I'll get a call back. No one called. Mind you this is a hotline for suicide. Wouldn't want to be standing on the edge of a cliff. I know they are understaffed but something needs to be done URGENTLY
