I have now had three day surgery procedures done at Strathfield Private Hospital and have excellent experiences from reception on the discharge. All staff were proficient and efficient but also extremely helpful at all times. I was also very impressed with the kitchen who coped well with food allergies without prior notice, and whose food was also very fresh and tasty. The only reason 4 rather than 5 stars is that I have only been in for day surgery not overnight, so cannot comment on night staff.

I had orthopaedic surgery at Strathfield Private, and I’m so grateful for the care I received.
From the moment I arrived for surgery prep through to my stay in Ward 1 West. The nurses and all staff were so genuinely caring.
They kept my spirits up, cheered me along as I recovered and always made sure I was comfortable—whether it was medication, ice, an extra blanket or just popping into my room to check in. It’s clear they love what they do and care about their patients.
Thank you to everyone at Strathfield Private (Dr’s, nurses, physios, assistants, housekeeping, catering, imaging and so many more) for making my experience as smooth, supportive, and comforting as possible.

My Surgeon did a great job!!!

However, few of the hospital nursing staff were very professional, skilful and very helpful.

Unfortunately the rest of them, not so much. In particular the night shift staff.

Physiotherapists very very very good.

Two out of 10 score.

Getting a day surgery procedure done here and admitted as one of the first patients that Saturday morning. While the sky is yet to brighten at 05.30 AM, our receptionist nurses are not groggy and 'slow'. We had whatever paperwork completed quickly and efficiently. The wait area is sufficiently decored and giving vibes of comfort with enough personal space both physically and emotionally. Ample spots for street parking and meter parking start at 9Am for the weekend.

First time at this hospital and the online pre-admission process was convenient. When I had to call in and speak to the receptionist Alexandra (Allie) to confirm the fees, she was very helpful, patient and clear. We had the pleasure of meeting Allie on procedure day and she was very efficient with the entire check-in process and questions during our visit. A great service experience with any business starts at the front desk and Allie definitely nailed it!

Giving it a four star review because the front Receptionists were not very friendly and a little grumpy, however, the nurses , doctors and anaesthetists were amazing, very friendly and caring , their service was top and I was amazed .
The hospital did not have the medications and was out of stock on certain goods which is a shame paying so much money for a private service and cannot cater to certain needs ...

I actually have no idea whether Dr Tim Ho is good or not because I didn't get a chance to see him. When i turned up on time for my appointment, I was informed by the receptionist that the Dr was running 'a bit behind' - there were 6 other patients ahead of me and the wait was going to be more than 3 hours. The doctor had attended to an emergency that morning, which was fair enough, but what baffled me was why I hadn't been called that morning (or any of the other patients), when it was clear my appointment was no longer going to occur anywhere near the time it was scheduled. Another patient in the waiting room informed me this was a regular occurance! I have no faith in a doctor that can't get a system going to alert patients when their appointments have changed. Dr Ho - get with the times. It is either a lack of care, a lack of being in touch with the modern world, or complete arrogance - none of which suggest to me that I'm in good hands. I have asked my referring doctor to see a different specialist.
