I stopped by during lunchtime today when the office was closed, but a kind lady inside noticed me waiting and opened the door, saying she felt bad for leaving me outside. Although she was new to OHSC regulations, she went above and beyond by reaching out to her supervisor to resolve my issue.

Honestly, this was the best customer service experience I've had in my 18 years in Australia. I regret not asking for her name so I could properly acknowledge her. When I thanked her, she simply said, "It's my duty, but I do it with my heart because I love to help."

She was an absolute gem. Thank you, wonderful lady in the office!

I had a disappointing experience at UNSW medibank recently. The attendant took more than 30 minutes to finish attending to a customer, while I and another person were waiting. We were completely ignored during this time. When I politely asked for an estimated waiting time, hoping to possibly come back later, the attendant responded it would take more time and as probably already knew the branch would close at 3pm and I could come later. Not in a nice tone too. To top it off, I was told not to use the bin for my rubbish, with no explanation given. This level of service was unacceptable, and I hope management addresses these issues promptly.

I've been wondering why the review is so low for this location as my experience before today has been not too bad in general except the wait time in some instances.
What happened today (8th Feb) was the patronising attitude of the rep on the left counter when I went in who serviced me.
I'm giving a 3 star as she did help with my problems, but the experience was negative because of her attitude.

If Medibank wants to solve this, have their reps to wear a name tag so that any feedback (both positive & negative) or complaint can be made specific for improvement. This also gives the reps the incentive to deliver quality service as they are supposed to, not letting certain individual rep to spoil all this!

P.S. A very sensitive topic, but I have reasons based on observation on past reviews to believe that it's culture/race-specific as the root cause. If that's the case, maybe allocate reps to this location who are more inclusive consider the makeup of the customers in this location.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The lady tried all her best to make me believe that the bug of the mobile app was nothing at all but all my fault by blaming me choosing the OSHC essential rather than the OSHC comprehensive, distorting the policy to justify they were right, and suggesting me to get another tax invoice from the chemist warehouse. In the end, I still didn’t get the benefit of my claim I should get.

The customer service has a bad manner. The lady didn't greet and had a really bad tone of speaking. She started talking before I finished explaining my problem like she know everything. Her body language was also arrogant. Finally, when I try to confirmed what she explained, she simply not confident to confirm it. Lack of knowledge about the product!

The staff kept my invoice and told me I would receive the refund within one week. Now one week later, I still did not receive it. The Medibank customer service told me there was no claim record in their system at all. Now I have no invoice for claiming again, what a terrible experience!

Go up
